I'm all for witnessing. I give my testimony every chance I get, and I certainly don't consider myself lukewarm. I really enjoy all of his videos, and now that I starting to learn and speak a little Hebrew, I think Mr. Gordon has the most engaging, and articulate style of any male teacher I've encountered, and I say that as a former teacher. There is only one thing that puzzles me. Here is an erudite advanced Hebrew scholar, who not only was raised as an Orthodox Jew, but has a PhD in Hebrew studies and has lived in Israel. He makes it clear at the beginning of every video that he is not a Christian, nor is he Messianic. Why is it that every single video, he has to be bombarded with 80 different inquiries about why are you not Christian? Why do you not believe Jesus is the Messiah? Etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. To the point that I'm sick of seeing them, and find them disrespectful. I have no idea what he thinks. He pointed out that he has been working and writing with a Christian Methodist minister for years. He obviously has his reasons. Perhaps someday he will believe Jesus is the messiah. Perhaps he won't. But I don't think perpetually browbeating him, and having this Jewish vs. Christian apologetics, battle in the comments section is going to make him convert. Like everything else, its in God's hands. Why don't we show him some respect, and a!low him to have his beliefs, and think up some interesting questions about the Old Testament that we've always wondered; and show him the same respect for his beliefs that he is showing for ours. No one was ever browbeaten into converting. This isn't a Billy Graham rally, it's a RU-vid video being put out by a Jewish Biblical scholar.

He is one of my favorite teachers period!

When I was a small child, the name Jehovah was in our bibles and spoken by every Christian I knew. Then, at some point in time, His name stopped being spoken by professed Christians and was no longer printed in The Bible. And I don't understand why. It is such a joy to my heart that this changing. I love and worship His name's, Yehovah and Yeshua.

This teaching has made clear some of the questions I have been having, esp the issue of 'high places'.

It doesn't only appear in poetry when saying Praise Yah. In Exodus 15:2 Yah is the first word there. It also appears in Exodus 17:16, 'Isaiah' 26:4; 38:11, Song of Songs 8:6.

In the NT Bethsheba was still Uriah’s wife, not David’s. David did sin but he repented.

My understanding is that the Levites were scattered throughout all the tribes and the young man lived in Judah but was technically of he tribe of Levi. Thus, a Levite whose family lived in Judah.

I have heard that linen (from flax) has a very high frequency and further, that the frequencies of linen and wool cancel each other out.

Matthew Vander Els, a Hebrew Roots teacher, believes the mixture of wool and linen has to do with the garments of the priests. He says that since linen can't be dyed with natural dyes, the priests' garments were made from white linen and dyed wool. So mixing those fabrics is a sign of priesthood. He also believes that tzitziyot could be the single exception for the laity-that they could (maybe even should) use white linen and techelet wool.

In Mathew it says if someone asks you to go with him one mile go two. Which is Torah law, repaying double. Restoring one another to perfectness or Shalom, completeness, wholeness. Zaccheaus said he would pay 4 fold to anyone he had extorted when Our Messiah said salvation came to his home. Acts 21 shows that Paul and 4 men were doing a nazarite vow and the offerings are animal sacrifice, not money in the plate like many have been brainwashed. Acts 20 they are doing the Holy Days of Leviticus 23, the word WEEK in verse 7 is actually plural Sabbaths. They are counting down the 7 sabbaths from unleavened bread to Pentecost. They gathered at that first sabbath and taught and learned all night for the gathering. We have been duped into believing a new gospel that didn’t exist before Constantine in the 300’s outlawed it. And king James translated it to stay within the traditions of the English clergy which is also from Constantinianism. The leaders in the Renewed Covenant that some call New, is not bishops and deacons like they translated it into. King James did the sin of adding and subtracting from the Truth. Example: The entire story where the woman was caught in adultery was added to the writings but was not in the oldest manuscripts. In Torah both the man and woman would be brought forth. And there’s always been mercy and forgiveness for that sin when repented of. Thank you for this teaching. I like to learn of His Truth through His Holy Spirit. Much Ahabah.

Hi Nehemia... Your understanding and knowledge of the Hebrew text is profound! I just found out about your book, "Hebrew Yeshua vs Greek Jesus" ... I study the Bible Hebraically with a community of dedicated and devoted believers of The Most High and HIs ways. I have come to understand more of what the purpose of GOD has been from creation and believe carries onto today... it has not changed. The answer of why David called Yehovah baal (Lord) is because he had sinned and saw himself as divorced from YHVH, so he called Him Lord as a servant would call him Lord. The name symbolized Davids repentance and acceptance of his fallen station, but also more... 1 peter 3:6 makes the point that Sarah called Abraham Lord, ba'al. The whole comfort of using this term is to show servanthood and as this verse says, confidently use this title becaise there ARE no other gods. BAAL doesn't even exist, so using this title should not be offensive. It takes great faith and no fear. David was acknowledging that he was doing well and had no fear of any other god because they dont exist ❤

Shalom Nehemiah, I heard your talk about Noah and Ham. Isn't nakedness also a symbol of our spiritual state. Adam and Eve felt their nakedness, their spiritual shame which they could have only felt if they had sinned. Noah was lying naked in is state of shame, though unintentional, Ham ran to make his shame known publicly like a gossip, defaming his good name as people tend to pay more attention to such things. His brothers went to Noah's tent, refusing to look at his son, lovingly covering his shame, the same as Yehovah with Adam and Eve?

Nehemia, I enjoy your videos,books,and presentations. Please give me your opinion on either all or some of the Hebrew Israelites being black people. Especially Judah, Levi, and Benjamin. Their are groups like The Israel of God and others that teach this and use Deuteronomy the 28 th chapter curses to show how that fits them to this day. The slavery, being carried away in ships, hid in prison houses, being a called a by word, etc. Etc. What are your thoughts? *We mix seed all the time, in a different way, and pretend it’s ok.* I was shocked right with Nehemiah, about Israel mixing seed, until I realized we do too!
