Have you compared this to K-nearest neighbours in classification analysis? Looks like this would be applicable for classifying response (output) variables.

I will, but it's going to be a long while - I want to focus on creating full playlists for undergrad topics first. But then I will move onto grad topics as well as continuing to fill out my highschool level playlists.
