WHY CALL THE PO PO HEAR THEY DONT DO SHIT ,OH WAIT I DO RECALL A STORY WHERE THEY ACTUALLY ARRESTED THE ACTUAL REAL HOMEOWNER . AMERICA IS SO GREAT ISN'T IT.
Squatters are an effect of the environment, so you're fighting the symptoms instead of the disease if you're going to make it harder to squat or make it easier to get rid of them.
Some neighbors like squatters that take houses and fix them. House’s that have been abandoned for years, are being vandalized, and a place for kids in the neighborhood to do drugs. Obviously this man is a vagrant not a squatter
I don’t get why everyone has to follow the law sometimes we have to get dirty for the right reasons Have the whole neighborhood come together with guns and force them out and when the coos come just keep your mouth shut we have to stop relying on the police and government to take care of things for us
@@thewayiseeit6710 I agreed with your statement. I said you weren't wrong in stating the obvious. Stereotypes are there for a reason. That whole culture has contributed zero to society
Yep we have squatters 2 doors down. They tried to take the house next door but I contacted the owners and the police. They were very aggressive, cursing at me, calling me a racists. The owners were grateful I called them and the police. Unfortunately they took over the other house. It’s all because the hurricane and people are having a hard time getting their homes fixed and these squatters just break in.
If I’m 5 days late on my rent, I get an eviction notice and if I were to not pay, I would be have a court date and be ordered to move out by the end of the month….I don’t understand how squatters have more rights than actual tenants.
I liked to know that answer too I seen ppl get an eviction not even behind on rent just because they made the landlord mad when he wouldn't fix nothing
@@hippychick420I just had people escorted off my property by cops. Maybe in certain states they have rights. But apparently they have none, nor should they have any here.
Yeah let's send them to address the potentially dangerous situations. They'll neutralize the situation with Karanicity. In this particular case if the guy really is a new neighbor well then, I wish him the best of luck especially with starting off meeting her like this Ugh good luck SMH
IF OUR COUNTRY WAS NOT LETTING IN ALL THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS & KICK OUT OUR HOMELESS VETS TO THE STREETS , THAT WOULD HELP! I think all the illegals need to be sent to BIDEN’S HOMES & any congressional members who voted for it! If THEY WANT THEM , then LET ALL THE TROUBLE THAT COMES WITH THEM START WITH THE ONES WHO ALLOW IT ‼️🤔👎🏽
A BRONX TALE is one of my absolute favorite movies of all time! I would have loved to see Chazz Palminteri do his one man play, which originally premiered in 1989, in L.A.
No no no. That’s what they want. They want legal protection while a case slowly winds thru the court system so they have somewhere to stay right now. Grab your AR and remove them promptly.
Where I live squatters have more rights than the landlord.. I had to deal with them a few months back.. they're gone now but they left needles behind ruined the apartment and building. The entitlement they had was infuriating.
Let me be very clear to any and all who read this: if i own a property that someone else or a group were living in, I would go with a group armed, and remove them...by force of necessary! Nothing you tree huggers say will change my mind! It's the same as stealing. We just had a lady in houaton have squatters in a 300,000 home, and she had to go through heck to get them removed! They weren't drug addicts, they had a Lexus and jobd...I'm done sugarcoating for spineless bleeding heart people who always want to give grace! Those people are dead wrong and trying to take something that has never belonged to them!
Appears this situation is quite different that what you described. An unoccupied, abandoned house covered in vines, shrubs, weeds, etc... will continue to decay if left uncared for... should people stand by and watch it decay. Adverse possession is and always has been recognized in the US. People who refuse to leave a property, when asked to do so by the lawful owners should not be permitted to drag out occupancy using court procedures.
It’s almost like you’d have better luck burning down the house to collect the insurance money rather than fixing the house after months of trying to evict squatters.
@@sophiachin1262 my comment was a joke. Just like the rights squatters have over the actual home owner. By the time the legal system evicts the squatters, the home is destroyed and all costs are laid on the homeowner. What I meant to say was by force.
Agreed if squatters clean up the property and actually improve it I don’t think it should be a problem. It’s the whole have to sneak around and deal with neighbors like this hating on someone for taking refuge in a rain storm that bugs me. Keep on being charitable lady.
I just went to court to evict squatters from my house and they showed up and the judge gave them 30 days to move out. Unbelievable this upside down world we live in!
Lady mind your business because those people don't give a dam about you or anybody else. Call the police like you would normally do. Says a lot about the neighborhood with all the growth around it.
@@michaelh3715 Thank the founding fathers and Jim Crow for Squatting Rights now think on why it became a thing? It is legal to do because the powers that be had an agenda that’s how Central Park became a thing well part why before it was a park it had thousands of black family homes across that land.
Squatter, "Wait, where am I?" Looks around. He realizes he's in a garbage dump. "Oh my god. Why can't I feel anything below my waist?" Looks down, sees what used to be his functional legs. Beside him is a wheelchair with a note that states "You are officially evicted" Around the dumpsite the same scenario is playing out for all of the other squatters
Totally understand, their was times the door was locked and the only window tht had access was the only one we could get through.and then the keys got loss I understand his situation completely I've been through this over a million times💯
I mean I get it, you pay and have the means so others should, BUT can you blame a man for living in an abandoned space when he has nothing? Not even arguing they're shameless or right, just more hoping you see why one might be shameless in their predicament.
@@mylifeinanutshell6931 if they have mail there they have squatters rights. How about this, maybe just learn to mind your business. Theyre not bothering her. Shes literally just there to ask stupid questions.
These people are apparently homeless, it's raining and cold, try some compassion before you jump to conclusions. Nobody wants to live in a home without water or electric, it's not like they've got it made. Good god.
Although, this woman doesn't come across as a Karen herself; just a genuinely concerned neighbour, but this should be said to ALL the KAREN'S out there? 🙄
@@herberthouston1776 why me? If someone decides to be jobless or to become a druggie, why am I taking responsibility for that? A system that helps the homeless gets jobs would be far more beneficial. It would increase the gdp and lower taxes, because of less money going to social programs.
Just call the police. Neighborhoods need to band together and watch each empty home. Make sure all doors and windows are nailed down and if you see strangers there . Call the police immediately. Start taking videos of them. When they see this activity watching them. They will leave. Stop them before they get in the house.
How dare those people! They should be living on the street instead of taking over a perfectly good abandoned house. What kind of Christian’s are we if we let people get away with this?
Exactly like what ? It’s abandoned and apparently whoever was over it never came to check on the property so why not let them have a rough over their head until it’s either destroyed or somebody actually decides to care about the property
Yeah that really looks like a house that's being taken care of by permanent residents. More often than not these houses are destroyed or sold within a few months and people need shelter. If the owners have a problem then turn up with the cops. If it's not your house then mind your own business.
In Memphis? If that happened to me in Cheatham I would've just called the Chief and tell him "some boy sole my car, you know what it looks like. If you see it, do what you do"
Imagine how "unsafe" those people felt homeless & sleeping on the streets. If I were homeless, I'd do the exact same thing... but in a secluded rural area in an isolated cabin. I fish, hunt, and forage… and our family summer farm when I was a kid didn't have indoor plumbing or running water so I know how to live without the conveniences. I've passed places that have been abandoned in my area for DECADES. Places that could have made good homes for somebody if they hadn't been left to rot and disintegrate. It's wasteful and it disgusts me. If someone's off on vacation and squatters move in, that's an entirely different situation, but if a structure has been abandoned for years with no one living it, someone should be living in it even if it's just squatters. Maybe if people had a living wage and could afford to keep a roof over their heads, they wouldn't be homeless or forced into a situation where they had to make a desperate choice. The lack of compassion in this country is staggering, and I bet even money the most hateful comments in this section are made by republican christians. I can't help but wonder how they would act or function if they found themselves on the street... which may well happen to some of the people commenting in this section if things continue as they are. Imagine if we started treating the homeless like the human beings they are instead of attempting to round them up and eradicate them like vermin.
@@boobooscooboo You won’t be saying that when they come by your house at 3 in the morning and take out all your windows and possibly you! Especially if you’re a witness! Ask me how I know?
City would rather abandoned property sit, dilapidated, no property taxes collected. Than to revoke the owners rights, rehab the property for single mothers, vets or homeless.
@@5StarHeneral and the ones punching old ladies and the ones shooting people for shoes and the ones robbing old ladies and the ones attacking teachers and the ones looting malls. i mean not a whole lot of sane ones left
So many of us home owners can't even leave our houses to go on a holiday or leave to watch a friend's house while they are out of town cause your house might be their next target. How shameful cause then you have to take them to court to get them to move along... WoW... are system is so effed up...
You might want to look up your local laws on squatting. You're worried about nothing. If you leave for a week and come back to people in your home/on your property, theyre not sauatters, they're trespassing and have possibly commited B&E. Please educate yourself on fhese laws so that you won't waste any of the precious time you've been given worrying about things that can't/won't happen. Life is too short dor all that. Put up some no trespassing signs and go on vacation for a month or two.
@islandgurl4927 No they cannot steal your title to your home that's bull they sell insurance for that which is a scam nothing cannot be done online to switch a title there are videos on RU-vid
That's not really how it works you would have to be gone much longer than a vacation and the person would have to receive mail to that property and prove occupancy😊
I live in Houston, if that was my property and I had a case of squatters, being I'm from Crosby, a group f us would be clearing that space out room by room, locked and loaded!
I had to deal with squatters in my building.. they were horrible, did so much damage and they were dealing out of the building.. their finally gone but it took months to get them out. They left needles and lots of drug paraphernalia behind.. honestly it was disgusting.
@Toxic city At that moment the only exits become your doors. Most houses have at least 2 doors. It's very risky in case of fire emergencies, but people care more about their houses being broken into than what happens during fire emergencies. Most doors are also purely metallic for security purposes.
I find it appalling that an angry person can kick his/her spouse out of the house you share, but you're not allowed to legally get rid of a squatter! How did such a stupid idea ever become law? I bet if a family squatted in a judge's house while he was on vacation, the police would be there to evict them in a nanosecond. AND they'd probably charged with breaking and entering.
Nobody can move in while youre in vacation. Why do so many people think that? Who is telling yall that garbage? Please look up your local squatter and trespassing laws. Youre worrying about pegasus pooping on your head.
Actually Michele they can and they do. Look up Squatters rights" . If they stay long enough and do all the required things, they can even end up owning your property. Apparently shutting off utilities and changing the locks can be illegal. Like I said - a stupid law.
@@naomicrist3993 just because they are there doesn’t mean it was by their choice this country has put many people on the streets and homeless because of its corruption

Same thing across the street from me. Then I mysteriously get my front door kicked in and the police say that only the owner can make a complaint against the squatters.
There has been homelessness for every president. Most of the problems of homelessness is at the federal/state/city level. We didn't suddenly get a homeless problem when Biden took office.
