The quality of the recording gives the atmosphere of the series of 80s - 90s recorded on VHS. Judging by the trailer for NFH2 around this time, the game takes place.
This game adds so much, especially the context. I remember thinking that Woody was the "Neighbour from Hell" terrorizing some ugly guy and feeling bad for Rottweiler, but the intro made Rottweiler less sympathetic and more satisfying to prank. 😂
You gotta hand it to Mr. Rottweiler though, the man has some incredible power when it comes to cleaning and rebuilding. Whether it be scraping the exploded egg from the microwave, or restoring an ancient Chinese jade vase, it only takes him a second.
I gotta be honest. This game seems like fun as all get out because it has like this Aardman vibe to it with the characters look. And I’m including the humor
A thing about the xbox and gamecube versions you forgot to mention: these versions of the game only had a PAL release. They never got a north american release for some reason. I am an american, but I managed to get the gamecube release as a WAD for my modded Wii. Thank god for moddingb
This version of the game is incredible I love it so much, the animations and controls are amazing, i wish more levels were in the game, i am kinda sad how 2 house episodes are locked as bonus levels and require the entire game to be completed with a perfect score, definitely a fun challenge but imo it's kinda frustrating sometimes, also i wish sneaking was similar to how it worked in the DS version, you just hold the L button, simple, it is possible in the dolphin emulator via some adjustments however i was only able to sneak in 4 directions, still the game is an amazing masterpiece Also 2:19:54 i love how the mom character looks directly at woody, than realizing she's screwed

I think the reason why the Xbox and GameCube had a lot of elements and features were because people were prioritized the consoles more than PC so the PC port was not fully available these features
sads sad i feel like the devs of hello neighbour were inspired by this game, maybe i'm completely wrong also my first game on the pc was madagascar. it's out on xobx and ps2. review it mayb or sth idk
Thank you very much for this walkthrough. This version is completely different from the PC version I don't understand why they haven't released this version yet on PC? It has many features and animations that are completely cut from the PC version and additional missions , also there's many missions that are completely different from the PC version and some don't even exist at all, and it seems that many fans didn't even know about this version , I know about it now , This is a loss, man If they released it on the PC, it would have been a win-win for the fans and developers
I appreciate you offering an explanation for what the other modes on console are! I couldn't find an explanation for them anywhere. There's also "Freeplay" mode, but I'm guessing that's just play whichever level?
Freeplay is basically Normal mode, but (according to the game manual) it's much easier to make the neighbour angry, which IMO just sounds like a recycled Normal mode :P This is written from the manual: *_FREEPLAY MODE_* _As soon as you have found all the pranks in one episode, the Freeplay mode for that episode is unlocked. In the Freeplay mode it is much easier to reach Mr. Rottweiler's maximum anger for a specific episode._
The PC version was one of my early gaming memories, I loved it back then. Later I randomly saw the Gamecube version in a store and bought it. I'm surprised how different it is. New and different prank setups in every level. Difficulty is a lot higher for sure. I don't like how sneaking works with the analogue stick, I keep messing it up. It was better as a simple button press on PC and in the recent 2020 console remake which follows the PC original. Another thing I dislike about the console version is how you can't cancel opening a door/walking stairs, if you accidently open a door you're screwed if the neighbor is in that room. I do love the new animations of him getting more and more frustrated with each prank. They are really funny and well done. On PC he plays the same animation each time. All in all the PC version is my favourite, but the console version was a neat discovery for someone who knows the game in and out and a nice new challenge to finish perfectly.
Help❗️There was a similar game where you play as a Boy and there are different character's homes where you go hide and complete tasks. Level 1 was I think was a Gym and you have to hide from the bodybuilder dude ad prank him sometimes. When you get caught he beats you a lot. He goes around the gym doing exercise takes showers and eats supplements. Can you please tell me the name if you know? Thanks
