Why was everyone so surprised that Julie didn't want Michael back to live with her? He tried to kill her! She wasn't exactly going to organise a welcome home party for him! Lol
It’s funny how everytime Julie and Philip fell out, Julie always looked like the villain. Even Helen backed Phil mostly against her own Granddaughter. Also after Julie’s death, Hannah was more bothered about her Horse and Helen barely shed a tear!
The effects did linger for a while. Phil took a good few years before he found someone proper (He and Jen just weren't the right fit), Hannah struggled to accept Ruth and buggered off to France for 6 months.
Sarah vandenbergh is lovely and wonderful actress. Its shame that Sarah did not return as Lauren. As I'm aware Sarah now works on a Australian shopping channel (tvsn).
Coulda sworn the Children of Barabbas episodes were on here somewhere - always found that particular plot amusing for some reason, probably because Barabbus looked curiously like Edward Tudor Pole and they played into every naff cult cliche going.
Generally, I dislike recastings but in this case, I think Kate Kendall's the better actress out of the pair of them. Likewise, Kip Gamblin is a better actor than Scott Michaelson who played SecondBrad (FirstBrad being Benjamin Mitchell, who afterwards played Brad's full cousin Cameron Hudson!). But Gamblin looks nothing like Michaelson, so at times that bugs me. When the Brad and Lauren characters were reintroduced after so many years, it came out Lauren had kept portrait sketches of Brad, supposedly drawn in 1994 or so. Conveniently, the portrait resembled Gamblin. Is that how you're going to play it, Neighbours writers? Those were my thoughts then.
It's basically rewriting history especially as Lauren had a relationship with an Irish guy called Conner whilst Brad was away to kick his gambling habit and broke up with her officially on the day he returned and that 2 to 3 months before Brad l and Beth left. Then also Lauren then had a relationship with Helen's nephew Wayne Duncan afterwards. Furthermore, Lauren left 6 months after Brad and Beth left. So if Paige was miraculously and mysteriously conceived, whilst she was still living in Ramsey Street, it's damn near impossible for Brad to be the father, and more likely Wayne Duncan or Conner
@@ksekweyama They could have just said her and Brad met up some time off screen after they all left and had a fling but that would be too easy for the Neighbours' writers they prefer to go out of their way to rewrite history for no reason other than to irritate long term viewers.
I actually remember this episode when Brad the Chad totally ruined Lauren. I don't blame him as would have done the same myself. Didn't they do it on the beach if I remember correctly?
