Words cannot express how much I love the character Susan, I wish she was real!! Hahaha!!! Jackie Woodburne is an amazing actress!!! This scene is a classic!! I love it so much!! especially when she has the little freak out, slapping Karl! WOW! I really enjoyed this story-line. When ever Susan appears on my T.V I just light up! Hahaha! NO SERIOUSLY!!!
Amazing acting!!! So much better & far more heartfelt than any other tv show we have today. Eddie Redmayne said it perfectly.... Jackie Woodburne & Alan Fletcher deserve Oscar level awards for their acting.⭐️
How many times has Karl ditched Susan for a "younger model", she's chucked him out, only to eventually take him back? He's completely mad, when she was younger Susan was beyond gorgeous, and even now she doesn't look 64.
The fact that Izzy would lose every time is better than her getting whacked or something.Susan did so well without Karl and he suffered because he knew that he lost her and she fought him off whenever she could and she still throws things back at him whenever necessary so she may have forgiven him but she's not forgotten what he's done to her, they are really good characters and Jackie and Alan portray them brilliantly.
That is one of the best scenes ever done. really hope neighbours gets back on form like that again cos at the moment it's really struggling. I bet the producers have been BEGGING natalie to come back!
I remember this from when it was broadcast - we'd not long graduated from uni and we all texted each other that day saying, "You HAVE to watch Neighbours today!" It's a monumental TV moment - possibly Neighbour's best!
Neighbours will never be as good as it was, nothing on tv ever will infact, people have too much choice now, back then it was either neighbours or the alternative, everyone watched it even if they hated it because it was a lot better than what else was on at the time, unless you had sky which was pretty expensive back then. Shame in a way.
Neighbours has lost everything it stands for in around the last 2 years. It's been since the Lassiters final, it's lost that unique 'Aussie' relaxed feel. The show has also lost too many good characters in the last couple of years, and havent been replaced well eg) Ned for Stuart, Parkers for Timmins', Ringo/Rachel/Zeke/Bridget/Declan for Serena/Sky/Stingray/Dylan, Oliver/Frazer/Marco for House of Trousers. The show have lost a connection between the audience and the characters.
this classic scene from a classic episode. did anyone record the neighbours classics day. was a bunch o' classic episodes. classic series. whats anybody else's classic episode?
one of my favourite scenes ever, along with the one where Karl breaks up with Izzy for the final time and he throws the plane tickets at her. brilliant.
I don't get it, the writers build up susan to be a strong-minded, caring, good head on her shoulders character and Jackie Woodburne plays the part with integrity and amazing talent, however the producers continue to include storylines where susan gets her heartbroken again and again by Karl. Seriously there is a serious problem with continuity, either let them be together without rifts or let her leave him for good.....the latter sounds far more appealing to be honest!
I have a life, thank you very much, but occasionally it's nice to dip into the lives of other people, it's helps me understand the people around me better. I don't live through them, I am perfectly content with who I am, and there is nothing weird about support a character you enjoy watching. So don't you dare judge me. xxStellaxx
Stella, no offence but please get a life. Neighbours is great and all but there is no need to hang on every moment of it. Your behaviours is quite freakish and moreso weird. Stop living through the lives of characters and live your own life
