You play fantastic. I fell in love with toots theilsman music. I love bassa nova and Brazil jazz and the Chromatic Harmonica is like sounds from heaven. thanks for the video
Great .thanks for the video . I believe that of all the harmonica manufacturers Seydel is the only one giving its instruments a rich color and a thicker mellow tone/sound , pleasing to the ears .
***** Glad you liked it Mark. Over the last year this instrument has become my voice, and I believe in it and the Seydel team. I’m sure you will be happy with it.
Hello Neil greetings from India coming on yr channel first time I got Saxony recently it certainly has an extremely rich tone but in my country it's rather hard on d pocket only d very top n dere also only s few keep it
Great playing Neil! I noticed you use the button on F &C in that little major scale run in c...that's interesting..you have a theory about that? more legato? thanks
Very nice! Three comments: First of all, you have a great name for a harmonica player. Secondly, you play beautifully; why haven't I heard of you before? Thirdly, are you a pucker player or a tongue blocker (or both)? Thanks. Barry (a 6-year chromatic player)
Thanks Dov. Name is accidental, as far as I know - but remote Adler link in Europe possible. Not well known as chromatic player as my career til now primarily piano. Strickly pucker playing unless momentary octaves. Best of luck, Neil
I have 12 hole Seydel chrom and what I don't like is the concave shape of the button. It kind of digs into my finger and I find my Hering is more comfortable but it was the only one I could get in the key of B. does yours have this same shape?
john darmiento Sorry about late reply. Concave button no problem for me, meant to have more grip. Likely it is glued onto slide. Ask Seydel about this and you should be able to replace it with another type. Also try my tech, Greg Jones at 1623customharmonicas.
Larry Adler comes from Ukranian Jewish people, like my grandparents, so it's possible. Ive spoke to Dror, and no connection evident but then, still possible.
