I doubt it's what you are saying! The real reason is that Equator is closer to space than northern latitudes. Let say the highest mountain on earth from earths center, is not Everest, but a mountain in Equator, which is 1 mile less than Everest, measured from se level. Centrifugal forces have nothing to do with it because once the lift off happens, centrifugal no longer applies.

He could be closer to right if you factor in elevation. New York city is at sea level, but much of Ecuador is up in the mountains. Obviously the higher the elevation, the less you would weigh.

I think for all who disagree, Go and get a bachelor's in computer science, then goto Harvard for Earth and political studies where you should achieve a Masters... Then, finally a Doctorate degree in Astro-physiology. Obviously where you will have YEARS, on top of years of these kinds of conversation with true experts... As of now.
