I have loved this man and his music since 1972.. I had just escaped an abusive marriage and moved away from home, family and friends. On the radio I heard, "I am I said" and that was it! With that voice and that costume ND could sing the phone book and I would be mesmerized..
I am here in LA , 75 years old , after my morning prayer , our rosary . I usually look for Neil Diamond to hear his beautiful extra ordinary voice that is gifted to him by our Lord Almighty Father in Heaven , Our Creator, Our God in Heavenly kingdom.
His voice is so strong in this clip. Great control and intonation. And such a charismatic stage presence. He’s having a blast. I think this is Neil Diamond in his prime.
I never saw Neil Diamond so funny! He was really hilarious here. Binoculars in the front row? What charisma, what energy, what passion as he sings. He is a commensurate artist, an ‘icon’. I feel in love with the song and music of Neil Diamond . I am 75 years old live here in LA with my son but we are from the Philippines and my origin is Chinese. My parents are from Canton China , but they are not here on earth anymore .
ND got the lyrics all over the place but, as Hadley Hockensmith used to say, Neil Diamond is never wrong and it is up to his band to adjust to whatever he belts out. The 'Diamond Principle' so to speak!

@@wk19781 Hot August Night has been the soundtrack to my life for the last 40 years so yes I would be very interested. For me, this was when Neil was at the height of his creative powers. The later Neil almost seems like a different person.
My first guess would be Neil and/or the record company he was working with at the time. But the whole DVD is a bootleg so I don't think it matters much lol. Do you want the mp4/mp3 file?

Hi, I wound up disabling many of the videos on which I had large banners saying they were uploaded to youtube by me cause I was getting some grief about that. Then I reuploaded (without banners) the ones that had a pretty decent popularity. Lady Magdalene wasn't one of those lol. I can understand people's frustrations with the banners. When I first started trading bootlegs I guess I was a bit over-excited about obtaining these concerts lol. wk19781 - Been trying to listen to the concerts. Everything plays except HAN 1, 4 and 8. I tried everything I could think of to get them to play. Is there another format you have them on? Again, everything else plays, HAN 9 and the other concerts before and after HAN. Thanks.
