ESPN has time to talk about Johnny Manziel for 20 hours a day but barely 30 seconds to cover the death of a college athlete? I understand there's no much to report at this point but it wouldn't kill them to talk about something else

Bitsko would've still been obscure if not for his death. If ESPN suspends/fires/fines Everett, it's clear evidence that the company can't handle the truth.
They used the death of a player at a lesser paid attention to school (I'm a Kent State alum), to seegway that into a story about Braxton Miller's non-life threatening injury, which they probably spent at least 5-10 minutes on in this segment. It's bullshit and if you can't see how repulsive that is, then you are a heartless bastard.
wow i applaud Everett I'll never forget how ESPN pretty much ignored that Russian hockey team plane crash from a few years ago that killed like ten former nhl players including former all stars like Pavel Demitra and Brad McCrimmon and players that were literally playing in the nhl the year before, it was an absolute joke
I like what he did and I understand anchors can go off and ad lib occasionally but do they have the power to put their own graphics up too? Seems to me espn had to know at least a little. Good stand though
I think they were reporting his death, but was only doing so with a very short graphic and recognition. Neil ad libbed the part about how basically, the stories about guys like Bitsko only get a few seconds of coverage while Manziel get days worth of TV time.
