It's so great to see these guys playing together. There was something unique about this band. I wish Paul had known how loved he was by so many and what joy he brought to us with his humour and musical talent.

I could also be wrong, but I caught the 1st Finn Brothers show at the Palais in Melbourne in late November 2004 and Paul jumped on stage to play with Tim and Neil, Liam and Elroy. I think that may have been one of the last times Paul played in public (probably the following night was THE last time). He'll always be missed.
@jezxk18 Hmmm, to each their own, but that guy is the legendary Jim Moginie from the legendary Midnight Oil so in my book he doesn't have to try to be Mark Hart. Hope you enjoy the other vids though!
I think this IS the last public performance, from January 2001, of the original (1986-1989) lineup. I've had the audio from this for a decade but have been searching since then for the video. So, many, many thanks. It's been six years on, and if I haven't stopped missing Paul by now I probably never will . . . .
I consider this to be the true and only reunion of the band - no offence to Matt or even Neil's current vision for the band, as it is absolutely his to do as he pleases. But, it can't be denied that there's a magic here that could never be captured with any other lineup, Mark excepted.
I don’t agree. It is a different thing. And “That guy” is Jim Moginie from Midnight Oil. He definitely brought more edge to the song and the extra energy he brought was appropriate in a live CD setting. Seemed like Neil started feeding off him later in the song.
jezxk18 Shanked?..more like played it his way like a real artist would. Jim Moginie is a legend and just because a live performance doesn't sound exactly like the record does not mean the song is ruined necessarilly. This is an original version rather than a carbon copy of someone else's playing..Neil Finn would not have a 'shanker' in his band either.
