goddammit, neil, i’m crying over a robot

Neil always makes me feel so much. Even with a poem about a robot…

Just brought back all the feelings I had for that robot, and how sad I was when she shut down.

He knows just how to hit you in the feels.😢

This is the THIRD time i'm crying about Oppy and I'm still not okay 😭

Every word of this I felt in my heart . It brought tears to my eyes . ❤

This is beyond just a poem for Oppie, this is a poem about how opportunity or someone may never be able to hear your love, how some people CAN'T receive the love, no matter how hard others try to help them hear it. It is far darker and sadder than just seeing Oppie pass. How lonely.. how lonely and scared could one be, pushing harder than they're meant to live, yet doing it all alone? Feeling all alone?

I just started sobbing over a 3 minute poem about a robot- Neil, you are one of my favorite poets. Thank you. ❤

Oh Neil, thank you for your depth of emotion and how your words provide us opportunities to feel along with you. Thank you for bringing so much humanity to Oppy. "Hope on 6 wheels" ❤ "where do we go when our work is done?" How alone she never was"😢 ❤ straight to the heart. Thank you.
