Absolutely love the intro on this. One of my favourites from back in the day.

Neil Larsen put out two amazing albums in the late 70's (I think in 78 and then 79) that I discovered at the time (I was in my late twenties) and I have been listening to them ever since. He captured a feeling/mood of the times and while I am not sure how well it translates to young/old people today, the music was incredible and beautiful and so iconic. Different from anything I have heard before or since. Very evocative, sensual and special. His music is a treasure that I will enjoy for the remainder of my life. Hope you discover and enjoy it. It is enjoyed best when you are in love with someone as it is so essentially emotional and uplifting. Like great bossa nova.

I’m from the Netherlands but every time when i listen to this album I see myself driving in the same car Neil drives along the coast of California, enjoying his music.

Zouden er meer dan 100 vooruit 200 Nederlanders zijn met deze plaat in de kast? Echte muziek en een klein land....... dan krijg je dat.....

This reminds me a little of the Brazilian band Azymuth, and that's probably why it sounds so good

I Love this guy. He is so Awesome & highly UnderRated. I wish that I could " get this stuff " for my Ipod. I have this Album, on Vinyl ( in Pristine Condition ) - but I can't play it anymore ( no turntable ). - Michael Caz - NYC -
