Good morning, Neil. So excited for the book. You are such an amazing storyteller. I often say I could listen to you read the phone book and be entertained. I hope you plan to make an audio book of Hauntings.
Mesmerizing story/history of place you tell. The real world out there drown out by too much noise in the places most of us live. Intriguing and cautionary. In America solo campers have to worry about Bigfoot and all the spirits that don’t want their property disturbed. Not to mention the wildlife. Thanks Neil
I can totally relate to the mermaid 🧜♀️ encounter. My great grandad Felix Falzon and his brother were fishermen. While fishing off the coast of Malta and Tripoli they were surrounded by three huge but beautiful half woman half fish . They were around 6-7 feet, with long red hair, violet eyes, and small but beautiful breasts. They were singing in a kind of almost church like way, Felix and his brother started to feel very frightened but also drawn as if hypnotised. Luckily, a thunderstorm started, and the ' mermaids' departed. Ill never forget my grandma telling me. Her dad was not the kind to make up stories.
God bless you ,, the wheat from the chaff is upon us.. you will find friends and families departing out of your life ,, and new like-minded will take there place
Bought the book, Neil, really enjoying it. Although to be honest, as you're a light in the dark, you could be selling dog turds and I'd still buy them to support you. The book is excellent!
Hello, Neil! A welcome relief from our common fixation on the moment-by-moment political crises. I'm thinking of the old stories in Maine and Atlantic Canada which are similarly eerie...I've felt that sense of not being welcome, of entering a different Reality, when entering some Woods or some small Islands. Being watched by Something that wasn't human.
Viscosity is defined scientifically as a force multiplied by a time divided by an area and viscosity was the word that came into my consciousness as you took us into the very syrup here. The high and low, a thick malt and yet sat on a wilderness seat of unstruck sound, like a swirling ether, caught dancing with the howling wind that haunts, all about, the ruins and tempestuous tales under a winter’s 🌙 . As the nights draw in like an open fire roaring up toward a chimney breast. You can feel the alluring heat and chills behind you. Magical Neil
I just went and Google Earth-ed it. Looks like a nice place and if this global warming thing ever happens, it'll be a great beach. Thanks for sharing another great story. Cheers! As I'm cruising around to trying to locate the place I'm finding all kinds of towns with the same names as cities over here in Canada, like Banff and Calgary. I know there's many more too, seems they weren't very creative with the names back then.
I was always afraid of ghosts, even though we were constantly assured there was no such thing. Denying the existence of ghosts, and at the same time the existence of our very souls, has been the mantra of those powerful people that control the narrative in modern times. If you can't extract the thing,, put in in a prtri dish, titrate it out and measure it, then we are fools to believe it exists. But everyone knows love, joy, and hate exist. We can't subject those to the scientific method. And as for the human soul or spirit. We know how much strength or weakness an individual spirit displays in difficult situations. We are much more than the sum of our parts. I was always afraid of ghosts, until my brother, and mother died within a week of each other. I was overcome with grief, but stangely, my fear of ghosts disappeared with their passing. I felt sure their loving spirits would protect me from a malign entity should it decide to pay me a visit.
Scotland was once the place were Men in kilts "skirts" had no fear but steel in their eyes, and strength behond size. Extinct now lost in tails of legends.
Thank you for the video. Interesting and laid back which is soothing. Happy Halloween 🎃🎃 to you all. Happy time 🎉! Spooky stuff 👻👻. Personally I believe in spiritual things yet don't celebrate Halloween ❤. Just how it is. Love from Bournemouth UK. XXX.
The Scott's sure do have a great sense of humor. Imagine calling your town Twatt (North East of Sandwood Bay Beach). Lol, amazing I'd love to know how it is pronounced.
I suspect that the cold water discouraged fishermen from learning how to swim. I wonder if any of the Apostles knew how to swim given there fear on the boat during that storm in The Sea of Galilee.
talking about the entomology of the word "Scot" have You heard the tale of Scota's dream which caused the exodus of the pharoanic bloodlines from Egypt? who can really say as to the Truth of any tales coming out of antiquity but that surely is an interesting one from the stable of less well known or discussed ones... i surely would be interested to know your thoughts if You know it. 🤔
Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV). We have redemption through His blood (Ephesians 1:7 KJV). Water baptism DOESN'T save us (1 Corinthians 1:17 KJV). We are saved by grace through faith, not our works (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV).
If Jesus told you to do something, shouldn't you do it? You might believe IN Christ, but do you believe Him? Do you believe him when he said, "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God"? Just asking. Jesus himself was baptized. Are you better than him? He did say, "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
Australia only has underground powerlines in newer subdivisions, of twenty years old or less. England is an old country with aging infostructure just like a lot of other Western countries their money has been stolen by the ruling class and shipped to a very small country in the middle East that likes to annoy their neighbors on all sides. And that is why England is no longer known as "Great Britton". Now it is just England.
