I prefer this to about any other solo they've released. People always refer to the "Frankfort" solo, but I think this one is far better. The solo from A Show of Hands is also spectacular. He starts to mix in some electronics with it...and the snare work is exceptional. Worth a listen, even if you don't do a reaction video to it.
Great to see you back Toni; and even better you are doing Rush again; you were on Rush synth period and there is a lot of great songs there, also the final album "clockwork angels" is fantastic
That's the first version of YYZ I've ever listened to and it's the best one. Reaction suggestion: Armor and Sword or any song really from Snakes & Arrows live. This is the playlist with the correct stereo mix. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LBJaML_yl4A.html.
Greetings from Los Angeles, ToneBone! I consider this to be Neil Peart’s definitive drum solo. It’s from Rush’s epic live album Exit Stage Left (recorded in 1981), for which there is a video/movie (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q0xkMfiHIec.htmlsi=JKPVre0Hn4Owpoe8), but unfortunately doesn’t include the performance of YYZ and the drum solo. Most definitely worth watching though. Thanks for the great reaction!🔥
