Neil's music runs though me like a bolt of lightening. I can listen to this song over and over in the same way I can listen to the Dead Man Soundtrack or any other Neil Young song. His playing hits something inside me that can't be explained. It is like trying to explain how I felt on a hot summer day and swimming until I was shivering and teeth chattering and then lie on the hot ground until it was time to jump back in the water. I can smell the earth and feel the warmth like I was there now. This would be like trying to explain the word love to someone. You just feel it. Thanks Neil.
Truer words were hardly ever spoken. However, since you used the word, "perfect", that's reserved for only one rock and roll song, "Memphis, Tennesse". Great post.
@@spookedhorse This version here ---- it is pretty fantastically great also hey I can listen endlessly or look at video antics as well ----- I'll have to look up Osaka Japan as you say a great version ,☆☆☆ Thanks !!!!!
'The Independant' - british paper - has today listed their 20 greatest songs by Neil Young. All the weepies are included. Guess what's not included. Maybe they have an editorial policy to keep people depressed. Just love the way these guys are jamming together.
Każdy nowy czy stary wprawia mnie w odrętwienie z uwielbienia do jego twórczosci do Crazy Horses - bo to jedność - Rengi Kid from Poland ( słucham od ponad 50 lat)! 🤠👍🏜️🌹
So happy to have seen Neil and Crazy Horse back in 93 when he played at Slane Castle Van Morrison and Pearl Jam played the same day but Neil really rocked that day,had the pleasure of seeing Neil and Promise of the Real and Bob Dylan 3 weeks ago when the came to Ireland great day Neil still sounds as good as ever thank God
During his Greendale Tour in Melb. Aust. The huge crowd went beserk when he hit the first note of Powderfinger, so did I. I've been so lucky to have seen him live a few times and that Neil & CH been hugh part of my life for 47 yrs.
What if he can't play guitar (in the words of one Allman Brothers member)? I love the guy's playing, and that's all that matters. Keep on rocking in the free world!
Yeah, I first heard CH on a Japan boot when I was a yoof squatting in England in the mid-80's along with Too Far Gone, White Line, etc. That riff/motif/whatever fricken' cries. The Ragged Glory take did it justice, but those boots ... jebus! Junk rock at its best.
giving it typical NY/CH wellie especially between the verses. NY/POTR can't come close imo but at least they are keeping Neil available to us when he needs a backing band.
Need to follow. Neils Guitar probably ben rebuilt 6 -8 times here. using some Tone Tubbies- hemp- cone speakers for tone made from hemp.. Massive Overdrive. These 3 are having a blast .The drummer is fast and his vocals good. When Neil says " Crazy Horse is Unique" well it is.Its point/ counterpoint and more counterpoint. They are mage 1 ft away from each other yet they have the shuffle going. Vocals are really great
