Wow! This is my favorite Buffalo Springfield song. I always thought it was a Stephen Stills song because he sang it. Things like this make the internet worthwhile.

This is the EXACT SAME show, in song order that he did, that same year, same tour, at the Chicago Auditorium show in Jan 71...he'd just got done with back surgery in chicago, was with Carrie, and wore that same flannel shirt thats on the cover. A memorable night for this 15 year old at the time...bought the bootleg from rubber ducky who recorded it. There was magic and smoke in the air in that historic building and a flow of words, music and presence from the stage that was spellbinding. Thanks for the memories and so much more at that time and going forward.

This reminds me everyday why i like Neil Young so much!

Needle is always awesome I'm on voice text sorry he knows who I am I grew up on this song and I just sent it to my lovely girlfriend who I've been with for 40 years thank you Neil... not Needle ! Sorry! And I work for myself too just like you brother ! Not working for Pepsi or Coke. People try to make my life a joke.. I ain't doing that either brother.!!!!! One thing about Neil. If you know anything about him. He stands his ground no matter what. And he happens to make lovely songs. His songs have stirred my heart for 50 years. I even met him a few times but I was probably just another hippie in the crowd. Whatever. Love you Brother !!!

Underrated been listening to this album since i can remember Massey Hall is a masterpiece

I've been a fan of Neil Young since I first heard him. If someone asked me what one album to buy of Neil's, without hesitation I would say Live at Massey Hall 1971. Notwithstanding the fact he produced many since this one. Runner Up for me is Tonight's the Night.
