Feel pretty fortunate I found this performance you put up of Neil playing Sugar Mountain , one of the sweetest versions I've heard him play ... like forever now I've been playing along with Neil and learning from him , this particular performance is perfect and I was listening to ever nuance in it as I played along with him trying to match his every move , after playing along with Neil doing this song a gazillion times from so many other performances, this one might just be my favorite for it now !!! ... thanks much ...
I'm surprised how few have seen this video. This is Neil at his very best. An emotional, moving performance, a journey that takes the listener deep down into the man's soul. Thanks Shakey.
One my all time favorites. Reminds me of my youth and wanting so badly to walk into the world unassisted by Mom and Dad. Oh I loved them so, but needed to move on.
