Kibo was the only student of ling , but she chose the wrong path and paid the price with her eye ( atleast thats what they say) Remember she had the same basic attack as ling but it was too OP and cornerd opponents easily so they reworked her entirely and nerfed her
Yeah, they nerfed Kobos basic attack k but left Lings basic attack intact, even though I'd argue Ling had the better one anyway. Ling gets full Slashing Strike from his basic, and can combo it into anything he wants by canceling it halfway.
7:13 I Dodge Lings shadow Move with backward roll or low kick. I do not know if a low kick from a Legion hero works but a low kick from Herald hero works for sure

at corner once enmey is down you can make one basic then when it is getting up mid way up you hit with two basic you will get another slashing strike in that corner try it but it needs timeing .
I met a ling player a while ago that has litterally mastered the big flask ability fully cuz he would never let you hit him while he's drinking from the flask regardless of the faction kick he always had that perfect timing
Please don't cry or complain about good characters like ling or itu or kotl or any other characters cuz some nerfs will kill or make the character unlikeable. At this point everyone says just says every character is op some say emperor and some still say kibo after getting somay nerfs.but it in reality your opponent is too good or spams or camps.if you are bad a player then you'll feel every character that opponent is using is op. sometimes being op is very fun cuz still you and your opponent have same options may not be legendary.
Yeah the only 2 heroes that I've never heard anyone complain about are Helga and Cobra. Most heroes are strong in their own way, and if players don't know how to counter their strengths, they call the hero OP 😂

Opponent's Ling didn't play passive, he actually played quite agressive but you started attacks at the wrong time and he punished you for it. But then at the end you resort to camping in the corner to be able to use your shadow abilities on him... Idk, I respect you in general but I didn't enjoy how you portrayed that match.
@@Mokorelsare I don't think so, I looked carefully at his Ling gameplay and yours, and the styles were quite similar. Vs Lynx and Kibo you were also sometimes hanging back waiting at some points. Your opponent was able to react to your attacks after you had already started them and counter them effectively which really is a skill
Ling is already very basic he doesn't have much resources he isn't very fast to move and tough to play with against passive players and players with range he is good against aggressive players tho but long can't harm you if you don't want him to
