haha, no. if that was a serious question, psychobilly is a fun spin on rockabilly. dark overtones and horror themes are prevalent in shows and they are really fun to watch.

@xoutofdatex i love when people say "its not real psychobilly" regardless to which band they say it about, its generally posers who say this kind of shit.Guana Batz are a good band, but they are different to these, like most genres of music there are variations, this band is Psychobilly and have been since 1989, whether you decide to believe it or not its still true.There is no such thing as "real psychobilly" it's a mixture of different elements so how can it ever be pure or real?

Are you saying that there is old psychobilly out there? Than who did you like back then? I heard this song for the first time back in 2002 and I loved it then. It made me play bass better.

This is why emo is prevailing over goth. Goth is trying too hard to be goth to the extent of fake spiders and emo is singing about actual pain

I've always known about these guys but never actually listened to em. It's so cheesy but only in the best ways

Every time I think Kim's going to say tricks because it rhymes with politics, and then it's rules. Kind of like it took many listens over time to learn the timing in that one guitar part in Rubbermonks and Leathernuns. I also tend to want to add the word particular before direction.

@clampersam Well their lyrics are always a bit tongue in cheek, as Kim Nekroman said in an interview, and the video's influenced by 50's B-Movies etc, so it's not meant to be completely serious and have some bits of humour, such as the glittery fluffy shoulders on Peter.. I hope.. But they're serious musicians etc, and bloody good at being ones as well.

a friend recommended me this band, usually for me it's just punk,some classical or metal music, but I have to say all of the songs I've heard from this band are pretty catchy, I really dig the sound...great mix of an old and new vibe at the same time!They are playing a show in my city, but the same night I will be at another show :/ ah well cool music! what do I call this though, it's not punk....but....yeah I have no clue what it is haha....good music? nough said!

@xoutofdatexi agree they are way different to how they sound on their earlier stuff, i prefer their earlier stuff just as i assume you do.There's points i agree with you on, i agree it does feature fashionable imagery, the graveyard thing is overplayed, But for any "underground" band to survive these days they need to appeal,not to be confused with selling out. im not trying to argue but i dont like the whole "not real" thing,thanks for the offer, but il stay instead of fucking off.

That band is cool but it's a bit slow. I need that fast beat to get the blood going. It's still a good band though.
