Re-recorded announcements were added to NEL this morning (29/8/2024), which replaced the old "Punggol Terminal" with "Punggol Interchange" as the opening of Punggol Coast is round the corner.

I like this tone, DTL announcements style are the best for SBST Lines but at least they retained the same SBST classic chime in the same key (and for the new Punggol Coast as well). Wish they would do the same for Outram Park also

Lol, unless if NEL decides to 'alternate' their terminus between Punggol and Punggol Coast for maybe first few months depending on the demand at the Digital District / SIT campus

Who was original person announcing the announcement for the nel. (What I mean is the OG 2003 announcements that are currently used in all NEL stations (except Outram Park))

we don't know the actual person but for all we know the older NEL and DTL announcements are voiced by the same person
