Marriage is a risk. It will always be. Doesn’t require a million years to find someone good enough to take that risk with. It’s tough, it’s work, sometimes it doesn’t work out. But that’s life innit.

Just a Dream is a very beautiful song. This song keeps coming back to me after the first time I heard it. To me, it shows that it cuts both way in a relationship where it shows that one partner took the other for granted or gave less love to the other, and the relationship falls apart.
Meh...I think that an excuse that sounds good at first until you really think about it. Nelly does not love Ashanti anymore. He stopped dealing with his own father because of her. So he does not care for her at all. I believe she still loves him tho. Her thirsty ass still follows his whole family on IG and it’s 2019.

Totally respect Nelly right here. He respects what being married means and I'm happy to see some famous couple isn't jumping the gun on it for fame. Way to go for them two! Hope we see more of them in the future and that they do get married cuz they're so cute together.

- Ashanti's a big girl and she's quite capable of making a conscious decision to stay or leave, Nelly's not holding a gun to her head and we don't what's REALLY being said behind closed doors. - They may be in a monogamous, committed relationship and just DON'T want "us" and the media in their business (VERY SMART) and perhaps is the reason why they are still "friends" till this day.

At least Nelly always go for long time relationship, they're on 6 years now with Miss Jackson but maybe its only partnership. ..Nelly has grown up son and daughter already.. 26 and 21...Maybe its just the events of his life from the past that made their relationship shatter(decisions)

i feel him, shit..that's how i feel. i think allot of people are like that- they see their parents or someone influencial in their life break up. and we dont want to do the same- we don't want to be married more than once- we want to work through the hard times not like our parents but more like how our grandparednts did it,,, our grandparents hung in their!!

He doesn't have to rush thats the problem in most relationships. People move too quickly w/o really establishing a foundation or solid History and friendship. I respect him and her for knowing where they stand. He is all about marriage and doing it only once. Good perspective! At least he isn't entering it saying..If it doesnt work out we can always get a divorce.I would take that any day over going to the alter under pressure. Nelly is so damn fine. Nobody can have that unique sounding voice. He's got a lot going on and i'm sure at this time marriage is the last thing on his mind.

They are still together. She is in St. Louis quite often and he is with her in New York. They are also with each other in other places. Just because you don't see a picture of them together does not mean they are not together.

they've clearly been together since 2004 till like 2011....then they broke up and got back together. There were pictures of them together 2weeks ago in St Louis.... and a few more pictures a couple of weeks before that in NYC.

@sayleon1 bull. he is a superstar, u think if he wanted something "better" he wouldn't have gone and gotten it already. understand his perspective, he doesn;t want them to get ahead of themselves. right now their relationship is working just fine & until both can come to a place where they feel ready for next level, then they will continue to take it day by day. and clearly she is defining their relationship as really good "friends" as well. they BOTH agreed to take that stance publicly.
