I love this video, it shows the raw, profound emotions that every sport is about. The athlete who blocks out the world around him to accomplish that one impossible shot. The crowd following his every move. The split second when everyone is holding their breath. And the sudden release of all that tension. Love, fear, joy, disappointment, relief, pride... in just one moment. Millions of people in sync, resonating with each other. That is why I am still watching this edit 15 years later.
What are you talking about? The period between EURO 2004 and the 2006 World Cup was the most boring period of football. Teams were extremely defensive. That's the only reason teams like Greece and Italy won.
goosebumps!!!! Forca Portugal!!!! we lost it was heart breaking almost traumatizing i remember crying like a little girl i was 14 year old boy but even the grown man in my family had tears but i was still proud of our boys i support them through their highest of highest and lowest of lows and trust me there's been alot more lows then highs but 2016 made it all worth it FORCA PORTUGAL
+The Blue Night That thought is just in our heads because most people disgrace everything in this generation/time. Doesn't matter what. Maybe enjoy life more and you'll see there are enough people left with passion
I think it still has a lot of passion. You just have to follow the right teams, I guess. Personally, I don't think I've ever cried so much over a football game as I did with the Euro 2016 final
not from europe but dont forget the legendary brazilians from that time, ronaldo ronaldinho roberto carlos, robinho and many others, 98-04 one of the best times of football
Euro 2004 - portugal Champions League 2005 - istanbul World Cup 2006 - germany Best best cup ever.. with so many charismatic player plus chelsea win the premier league in 2005.. never forgoten
I celebrated like never before when we beat portugal at the final but I also celebrated when portugal won the last euro because they finally got a title that they deserved
THE BEST THEME SONG FOOTBALL EVENT FOREVER (EURO & WORLD CUP) GREATEST TIME FOR NUNO GOMEZ, FIGO, RAUL, TOTTI, OWEN, ZIDANE, BALLACK, KLUIVERT & NEW SUPERSTAR CR7 I LOVE THIS MEMORIES, I RESPECT FOR PORTUGAL
Euro 2004 is the 1st ever major international tournament for CR7, Rooney, Lampard, Berbatov, Podolski, Schweinsteiger & Ibrahimovic And last international stages for Scholes, Kluivert, Ziege
ahh Euro 2004...Czech Republic had this year probably the best team of all time. We had a group a players who remembers Euro 96, and large group of players who take in last two ME U-21 Second and First place. It is shame that the yourney end up in Semifinal with Greek and I remember that i did not want to believe that its over. Maybe it was much worse than the lost with USA in QF of World Championship in Ice hockey in same year because when ice hockey players lost the game. They already had 4 gold medals from past and gold medal from ZOH 98. But football players - they waiting for this since Belehrad 1976. Its really shame, because nowdays we cant expect from our current team that he would be able to go beyond the first stage.
Watched football with your pops in the night. It was pass your bed time. Your pop sip his cofee and you drank your soda or milk. You asked why the ref canceled the goal, but yo pops waved his hand and sssshhhhhh you up. And when your NT scored, it was pandemonium. What a moments
Portugal should have won 2004. That time their team was impeccable. They shouldn't have won 2016, just by the fact how weak they've become. Figo, deco, maniche, gomes, old ronaldo...those were the pros.
Ah I still remember this song anyway Euro 2004 was my 1st ever Euro Cup I had watched on TV (It was broadcasted on RCTI) And 2004 was my graduation year from Kindergarten on the way to became Elementary School students This is the 1st ever major tournament for future greatest player in the world, CR7, future Manchester United legend & current Derby County manager, Wayne Rooney, future Chelsea legend, John Terry & Frank Lampard, & last international action for Paul Scholes & Patrick Kluivert. Also the last Euros for Zinedine Zidane & Francesco Totti + only international stages for Dimitar Berbatov
I did not exist back then, but it's like I was there when Ricardo took out the gloves and saved that penalty!
