She stated she isn't interested in fame and money. The success of 'Loose' scared her and made her just want to live a normal live, wash her own dishes, work in a record store, clean her own house. She made 'The ride' to find herself and her own creativity again.
I always lived the graspiness of ver voice... it look like it’s gone now that she’s grown older, or maybe she just changed her vocal ranges for a reason... still love her!

Omg i am sorry but the background singer voice was so bad and didn't fit with Nellys voice in the second song 😒. Nellys voice is sooo special and i love the Say it right song. I listen it often in radio too. ♥️🔥💥
