Today marks 30 years since Nelson Mandela was released from prison.
The anti-Apartheid leader, who is considered a global symbol of the struggle for justice, was a strong supporter of Palestinian independence.

Mr Fidel Castro was more vocal. Mr Mandela is more of a peace maker. But Israelis are so sturdy. They do not believe in peace of any sort. They have violated 30 human rights treaties so far

It would be greatly appreciated if someone from ME speaks to the indigenous people of South Africa who are still under occupation and treated like 3rd class citizens, just like Palestinians are being wiped out, so are the indigenous people, they have no rights to their land culture language mineral and marine resources. Mandela didn’t fight from jail, but was made a martyr from Jail because we thought Apartheid would kill him, it unfortunately didn’t and we had to endure our miscalculation

"From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!", a popular slogan used often in the Palestine movements, is used synonymous with Destroy Israel and painting the sea red with the blood of Jews.
