Nelson’s flute tone is so perfect for this poignant tune!He has the sweetest tone for this memorable tune that just stays in your head all day!

This is what my family and myself called "Lakefront music". We'd just drive from the Southside of Chicago to the Northside. Lake Shore drive with this and many other smooth jazz tunes blasting on the car audio. Late 80s, early 90s. Great memories!

This is the one that had me hooked from day one. So uplifting and smooth. Thanks to your music teachers. Keep playing for keeps and take us with you.

I don't know about New York City but this tune works in Chicago. WNUA 95.9 had this going on at night on Rush street. Or on a full moon cruising the lakefront.

This is a hard to find CD. It was on the Gaia label and it was also the first time I had heard of Nelson. It's in my library along with Playing For Keeps.

This also reminds me of New York City and Michigan Avenue in Chicago. i can see myself strolling down the street with a woman on my arm, both of us enjoying the things around us.
