NEMA issues urgent warning on wetland conservation following Lubigi evictions 

The National Environment Authority (NEMA) has warned of severe consequences if wetlands are not conserved, this as the authority explained what constitutes a wetland. This warning comes after some residents of Nansana Municipality were violently evicted after their homes were demolished for encroaching on the Lubigi wetland.
