I’m glad ol’ Nemy is getting the retrack and refurbishment until reopening in 2024 and it’s so awesome that in 1994 Alton Towers had opened a beast of a rollercoaster that would live on for 29 years and now being taken over by the Phalanx and being refurbished which is sad for any Nemy fans but it’s not going anywhere it’s going to be living in Alton Towers for another 30 years after the new sand filled track had come in. Not only that, the legend is being kept alive with Nemesis: Sub-Terra keeping this awesome legend alive and I do hope those blood red waterfalls get turned back on
I hope she gets the Grade II listing like the Pleasure Beach woodies so she stands a chance of making it to 100 years old in 2094. If I’m still alive when she’s 100, I’ll be 86. It would probably kill me, but I’d take one last ride around the 2,350 feet of track that made Alton Towers famous.
@@BenWRX It came out as the same time as Strawberry Pepsi and that wasn't very widely available either. it was one of those get it while it's still there things.
See this is why Nemesis Inferno is far inferior. Not only doesn’t it have the unique terrain usage and far superior layout, but it doesn’t have a unique storyline like the OG. It doesn’t have the awesome music, and it didn’t get narration from Dr Who himself. Doesn’t deserve to bear the name of the legend. Nor does the south of England deserve a coaster which tries to follow the footsteps of its much superior northern sibling. SIT BACK, IT’S FRIGHT TIME. 1994-2022
Well to you it is.... I think Nemesis Inferno is ace. Has a unique layout & great theming along with a great soundtrack. Nemesis Inferno gets unfairly hated on & doesn't get the credit for what it is.
