They absolutely deserved the win. Also not a surprise to me at all. Their song had 3 diffrent genres of music in it. Opera, rap and pop. They sang it beautifully live with flawless vocals. No wonder the jury or the people loved it
@@TheJoviShow Question... people are all the time correcting this, but Nemo in a recent interview said that he does not want to live by the rules we have in soceity, but on the other hand the same society should adopt and obey a new rule about pronouns?`Isnt that hypocritical?
@tomislav982 is it really a new rule, or just simple courtesy to call someone what they want to be called? Unless it is something like a professional qualification (eg Doctor or Judge) that they don't actually have.
I just had to come in and say this video is blocked in the U.S. to get people to subscribe to Peacock to watch the whole thing, so I've been watching reaction videos of it all day to see the whole thing without having to find it in an hour-long Peacock video. But to be fair, this was the first time I've ever been able to watch Eurovision in full, so... yeah, I still appreciate Peacock actually having it. I kept hearing good things and I'm 100% happy I watched this year's. Nemo's performance was amazing.
@@Davesmusicreactions Sublime was Portugal 🇵🇹 we don't need to be in skirt skating.. we do Art, not commercial songs. Can you please react to 2024 Eurovision Portugal🇵🇹? But THE SEMI FINAL that is better. Grito is Scream in English, and Grito not appear in the lyrics.. Grito is the scream in the climax of the song, when she liberates from the demons represented by the dancers. It is not commercial. A masterpiece. No one in the Eurovision compares to this.🇵🇹 "Ainda arde".. means "still burns", the flame that she still has inside of her. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7m2DhDhJ4-8.htmlsi=a8WRXKPz9TPV3QiO
Btw. Nemo is Nonbinary (they/them pronouns). It's what the song is about. According to them the got the balance for this performance probably from driving electric skateboard.
@@Jack-ri6bn they're a cool artist, that's all that should matter, if it doesn't to you, you've missed the whole point of Eurovision and it's your problem, no one cares
I was initially distracted by his outfit, but moving past that, I loved the Mozart tribute in the falsetto "truth" and the fast beat and of course, as something of a professional cryptographic tester myself, reference to breaking a code. My only gripe is the letter O and not the numeral, naught, or zero. Illogical binary reference. He's going to divide by zero.
The word O flows better then zero though. Some where between the Os and ones Some where between the zeros and ones You could do... Some where between the zero and one
The points system has been deliberately chosen to ensure some objectivity with regard to singing quality and performance. The jury assessed on quality (voice purity) and performance and the ordinary man on the basis of gut feelings (politically oriented on the basis of faith, race, orientation and so on). This has really been well thought out.
@@CYBERMIK4056 it that why uk finished so far down? is that why ireland didnt finish second? is that why there has only been 2 lgbt+ winner in all of eurovision? stop trying to create a narative and accept the reality, this song was just better and croatia was a televote bait song
I’ve concluded that the breadth of different genres at Eurovision renders the judging a function of individual musical tastes rather than an assessment of talent. In my view, the three best contestants were from Switzerland, Croatia and Israel . All were excellent. I personally preferred Eden Golan. But Nemo is a super talent. I think his style is more in keeping with the Eurovision tradition. Hence, he ended up being the winner. Ideally, there would be different categories, much like the Grammys, so you don’t end up comparing styles of music that are incomparable! But that may make the process too lengthy
I agree. All three songs were strong. Israel had the best lyrics. Croatia had the most fun performance. Switzerland had the best vocals. I think Nemo deserved the win, but the other two wouldn't have stolen it, either.
@@cigarsmoker8628 no point arguing with someone unable to look past the artist's appearance and opting to cry conspiracy. the irony in saying "deal with it" when clearly you can't deal with the concept that the jury would have been looking for everything this song showed off regardless of who sang it. but ermm just my opinion sir! 🤡
Jury giving points is not necesarily rigged? Thats what they are there for lol. Clearly Jury appreciated Nemos song more, which is understandable. Its Objecively the BEST vocal performance this entire year, if youre going by vocal range and clarity etc
He got 12 points from 22 countries (from a total of ~ 37 countries)... wow. These are professionals who recognise the talents and exactly know why they gave the points). So well deserved, Nemo! 👏👌❤️
I don’t like the song at all. He’s got a great singing voice but the song isn’t catchy. He did win because of the fact that he considers himself non-binery. There were much better songs that deserved to win. I understand people have different taste in music but this one just really isn’t good and I can’t understand how he gets so much praise for it.
@@Rinoalessa Da kommt keine Antwort. Kroatien ist mit Hasskommentaren gegen Nemo beschäftigt, statt sich über den 2. Platz Ihres Kandidaten zu freuen. Schade.
