@@RustySabita There are a few versions of OIRAN. Live at Naon Yaon 2021 is cool. So is their recent Evolution version in studio where there are just the four members now.
Welcome to Nemophila. Too bad Oiran was unusable, great song. Lead vocalist Mayu was looking for a backing band in 2019, she called her former classmate ,bassist Hariguchi-san. They found Tamu Murata, a highly in demand session drummer. Guitarists Hazuki (ex -Disquala) and Saki (Mary's Blood). Saki left the band earlier this year, an amicable split. They are continuing as a 4 pioece, with Mayu playing some guitar, and solos more bass and guitar. They were Nnamed after a flower because they are all female. A nemophila is a 5 petal white and blue flower, primarily native to the American west. 3 albums, 3rd just came out in Jan. Most of the screams are in English, cleans are a mix of Japanese and English. Most songs are a clean and harsh mix, thought they have some that are all harsh and some all clean Dissension is from the 1st album, same as Oiran ,and was my intro to this band. For more, check out "Revive", Adabana, "Ame-te-ras", "Zen" (all harsh), Night Flight"(all clean), and "Style" has a bit of rap.
They are all excellent musicians. And nemophila is a very unique and diverse band, with various genres of music appearing in their catalog. I recommend their new released《G.O.D.》 as the next!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻
Nice reaction to Nemophila! 🤘 Mayu's vocal fry + cleans + stage performance = my favorite front woman of any band right now. Also, you may be interested in their cover of SlipKnot's 'SIC' since you mentioned them. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3ys967RS9yw.html And check out 'Zen' live and 'Ama-Te-Ras' live if you want more of their heavy songs
I like that it's distinctly different, and still gives you that "Ahhh Yes" nostalgic feeling that you know and love... But, it's not a copy of something familiar. It's very new, or fresh, at the same time.
They are my favorite band and most music reactors on RU-vid say that Nemophila Dissension is an awesome metal song as you noted. Your reaction was very good. Try other music by them like Zen, G.O.D., Adabana and Game Over.
Nice one. Hanabie should be your next venture...We love Sweets. If you dive into the Jmetal rabbit hole, you won't wanna come out. So many good bands. .. of all types of metal. For me though, Nemophila, Lovebites, Band Maid and Hanabie are my go tos. Highly recommend Unlucky Morpheus,Fate Gear, Bridear, Maximum the Hormone, Crystal Lake, and Deviloof, Dexcore and Jiluka for extreme heavy.
They are a reality new band and only started during the pandemic. The lead singer brought them together for a one time session but they enjoyed it so much they decided to make a band. Unfortunately they lost one of their guitar players but the are carrying on as a 4 piece band.
@@RustySabita you should check out Mary's Blood the band Saki was in before nemophila they are pretty heavy also a great all female japanese heavy metal band
Nice plz check out G.O.D oiran live and odyssey for a change up you wont believe.....also interested to hear what you would think about Hanabie.....subbed
@@RustySabita 0) I see you've already met HANABIE, they're worth keeping an eye on, they've been on tour non-stop for the last year, they've been to all the metal festivals in the world. They're getting a lot of money invested in them. 1) MAXIMUM THE HORMON This group is veterans, the most influential in Japan (I give the names, RU-vid hides the links) - マキシマム ザ ホルモン 『予襲復讐』 Music Video 2) JILUKA - S4VAGE (Official Music Video) 3) BRIDEAR - Still Burning [Official music video] 4) DEXCORE 「SKINDEEP」 Official Music Video I'll add more later ))
@@RustySabita And then there is the Fox God's chosen ,"BabyMetal". With every style of metal under their belt ,not to mention they kicked open the doors for these other bands to run.
