When they lay down a groove, it stays where it's put! They have so many different styles of song, it is hard to categorise them. They're just Bloody Magnificent!
glad, you checked this one out. they are fantastic, yet also the real thing. mayu can sing like an angel, but also like a fierce demon. sakis and hazukis 7strings are pure awesomeness, while tamu and haraguchi-san are thundering relentlessly. thank you for your reaction. next I recommend "life" from them, a song they wrote for tamu, who was back after having her baby. very beautiful and emotional. they are like family.
Funny you mentioned wanting to see this song performed live, cause they indeed performed it live in Naon no Yaon concert and it was amazing!! You can check that out, along with "Oiran" and "Life". Thanks for the reaction Tauri. If you want some fresh bands to react to, I suggest you try HANABIE. with their song "We Love Sweets". You will be blown away once again, surely 😊
Hanabie caused me to do a quick double take when I heard it for the first time, which is something that probably only Broken by the Scream was able to achieve before that.
I actually prefer the live version as I think Mayu's vocals are even better: a bit more forward and the words are clearer. Can't wait to see them live in person... And yes: Hanabie! I love how "We Love Sweets" sets a first-time listener up...then drops a 10-lb hammer right between the eyes. The entire first album, "Girls Reform Manifest," is excellent...not a bad song on it.
Oh yeah. Oiran live (Naon & Yaon) For me, it is very representative of the potential that these girls have, when they can play in front of a crowd. Brutal, great ... MAGNAS
She was adding some raspiness to her vocals in "Raitei", but not this type of screaming. Her screaming went through a bit of post-processing (my guess is they boosted some of the higher frequencies), even though it is still impressive without. if you want rawer recording, I would suggest to try: 「OIRAN」(RU-vid ver.) / NEMOPHILA. You will also see them act more naturally than they do in music videos. And there is a difference. "Life" is a great song and an anthem of sorts for them. It is closer to hard rock. And Mayu (the singer) really goes for it in terms of emotion. It was recorded after Tamu (the drummer) had given birth and returned to the band. I was thinking about the way to help you with connecting members of the band to their names and there is a way, which is actually linked to this music video. :-) --------- 【NEMOPHILA】DISSENSION MakingMovie ------ and here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TLryxytS0e8.html They will release a new single on 13th October and there will be the 2nd anniversary concert on 17th October.
@@timhutchinson8485 That was most likely the case with this. It would not be a bad idea for Tauri to watch the live version (even just on her own) of "Dissension" to hear the difference in sound with her own ears. ----- 【LIVE】NEMOPHILA / DISSENSION (NAONのYAON2021)
Thank you for talking about Nemophila, great reaction! You should definitely check Unlucky Morpheus! Angreifer live will be a great place to start a jorney to their rabbit hole!
This is about as hard as the band goes (could they go any harder?) and I never tire of watching reactors faces when that first scream hits their ears! If you want to experience the other end of their musical spectrum then Life is the one to go for BUT make sure you track down the version with subtitles - the lyrics are truly inspiring stuff. Of course, if you just fancy some nonsense, their take on The Minions' Banana Song will leave you wondering what the hell is going on!
Great reaction tauri as always. That was ridiculously good. The Japanese have way too much time on their hands. I have a band that you need to check out they are called dexcore and they are Japanese. Me and ohrion have gotten alot of people into their music. Very talented band, the lead singer sounds alot like Chris motionless. New sub. 🤘🤘
There is a live video of this song and it is fantastic but since it was written in the covid era it hasn't been in front of a crowd yet. At least not on video i have seen. This is their heaviest song to date but all their songs are great. For some more hard try Sorai but I also recommend Life [mv] to see a very different side of them.
Yeah, musicians here were on point, not so much the main vocalist with her effects added on her voice when she was screaming, not too fan of it, but the rhythm of this song was pretty fire! Im not gonna lie! Reminds me slipknot type of genre. Pretty dope♥. Your reactions thou♥♥♥. keep this great job my dear tauri♥
not as much effects added as you might think. Mostly standard post production stuff like compression. Check ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6zH045LdjBo.html for the live version.
@@totylow hmm ... to be honest, I don't think they did anything to her vocals that's not being done to vocal tracks on any other album, no matter the genre.
