I absolutely love this song. Mayu was born to be a rock star, her charisma is off the chart. Tamu is phenomenal in this one and the guitar solos are really fantastic. The joy they have playing together is super endearing. Nemophila is the best

This song released in their first EP along with OIRAN and LIFE. Composed by SAKI who let Tamu showcasing her superiority and its one of her significant drumming masterpiece, on par with RAITEI and HYPNOSIS.

Studio sound over the livestream footage. They had issues early transferring sound bites to RU-vid. I think Murata tamu has this live on her own channel but again you can see where the sound transfer didn’t work out compared to the actual stream which was great. It’s one of my favourite Nemophila songs.

A much ignored song from their first EP. They appreciate it and play it live at shows because they know just how awesome it is. For a while it was their only band-written original song, it isn’t now but it’s still rare and brilliant.

MONSTERS is a beast. Some of the best guitar work from SAKI and HAZUKI. ADABANA, I think edges this out for best solos though IMO 🌸✨🌠

LIFE is from their first Live Stream Aug 2020. This is a later live stream. You can tell earlier performances, because Hazuki is using ESP guitars. She signed with Ibanez not long after this show. This monster video is from their Dec 2020 Live Stream

So glad you posted this music for your reaction, Wave Potter. This song and others are nudging Nemophila to the top of my playlist. All four instrumentalists are beyond outstanding. The guitar duo of Saki and Hazuki are nipping at the heels of LB's M&M. Murata Tamu is simply one of the best in the business, and she and Haraguchi-san constitute as fine a rhythm section as you could ever hope for. My one reservation is Mayu's vocals. I'm not as drawn to her timbre as I am to others. It could be my hearing. She has great charisma and command for a frontwoman, but she has intonation issues in live performances that I've heard. I wrote previously how much admired her perseverance at Aftershock, being eight months pregnant, but her voice sounded like it could give out at any time. I hope she has a vocal coach; if not I hope she gets one soon! All of them "have miles to go before they sleep."

The show with Loudness was really something special wasn't it?. Loudness were on MTV's "Headbanger's Ball" and had a couple songs on the radio when I was in high-school in the 80s. Never thought I'd see them open for one of my new favorite bands almost 30 years later and what a cool relationship they would have. Really hope they release the concert on physical media. Not only do I want it in my collection, I want to support the bands. Great job again Wave!

The whole flow, phrasings on the guitar solo, going from one to another then combined in harmony. That was nice. Hazuki and Saki have distinct different styles and tone that are complimentary to each other. Watching them cover songs , I wasn't sure what their style was until hearing the originals. Melodic, clean , fast, cool phrasing.

Axe japan has a how to play Hazuki's part to this YT take a look .Glad more are now waking up to Nemo ,long term fans have known for a good time just how special they are and getting better all the time where its going is right to the top.

On their raw sounding lives, Saki seems like the cleaner player, but i always look fwd to hazuki's solos the most, which i usually find more interesting. her sound (esp on dissension) reminds me a lot of marty friedman.

This song is insanely good! I often see people saying they don't like it because of the synth part but it is such a small part of the song... This band is just incredible and we are lucky to witness their growth because sky is the limit for them! It's fun to see you falling in love with them. You still have some songs to check but if you can get a version of one of my favourite Breaking Out (unreleased only played live song, keep it on patreon if you find it) there is a little surprise for you in it you won't regret it

@@DragonPhlyy You have 7 twitch drummers covering Monster's on your channel and here is the original - the one and only to enjoy as an addition to Nemophila's main song, its a drum cam and as I understand there is no overdub so its live version. I enjoyed both and keep up the good work spreading Nemohila's word. (if there were guitar oriented cam's I would love it.)

You have to get the January 9th concert blue ray. They play their whole catalog up to that point and it is worth it if you’re a fan, imo…

I think I read somewhere that they had problems with the live audio, so that's why they overlaid the studio track. Not sure how true that is. This band is special. Also, Mayu's "signature dance move" makes me feel things... 😍😍😍

They had limited funds and equipment for the early live streams hence they used a studio track .Now with better backing eq etc live they can now use the sound tracks.

Does youtube look at live streams differently that non live videos? I've seen live streams shut down because of copyright. Then the video is cut and posted and it passes. I don't know. Inconsistancy is frustrating.

Going to the conversation you and the guys had about women in rock and metal bands... Nemophila is not my cup of tea musically speaking, but Saki is a Goddess and the reason I watch the videos. It might make me seem shallow, but I'm just a guy and the eyes need to be pleased as much as the ears do.
