First saw them at their 2nd ever show (Sept. 5, 2019), quite a few more times, once on this particular tour, and will see them at the Budokan. The Budokan is not the plushest facility, but its history is amazing, with all the great Japanese artists and bands that have played there, and so many great international artists/bands over the past 60 years too. There's an aura to the Budokan, and I write as one who's been in it about 30 times.
This was a cool vid. Always cool to see them behind scenes. Loved how they all switched instruments and were playing Life with Hazuki singing. What you said about Mayu I think that too at times. She so small with that powerful voice and screams you wonder wow where that come from. I still go back and watch some of those fan recordings on of them playing at Aftershock in Aug 22. It was 90 plus degrees and Mayu is out there on that stage 7 to 8 months pregnant and growling and singing her heart out while also headbanging and dancing at times. Kick ass! lol 🤘🤘
haha, nice reaction as always, 2-17-2024 = Budokan!!! NEMOPHILA at Budokan!! I wish I could get to Japan to see that show! going to be amazing, I just know it. Also of note, at the time you were talking about their business stance, they had all swapped instruments, Saki on drums, Haraguchi on Saki's guitar, Hazuki singing, etc! I was very lucky to get to see NEMOPHILA live in NYC last spring, they rocked the roof off the GRAMERCY theater, they were pure fire. the crowd loved them, we even went for an after party to grab some Sapporo (the beer that Saki and Haraguchi were hoisting up in this video) and chat about how awesome the show was. when they come back (and i know they will be back) you MUST go see them, you will love every minute!
I love TRM's NEMOPHILA reaction video. I love TRM's reaction videos of NEMOPHILA. His facial expressions and eyes are full of kindness, and sometimes he is astonished by the sound they play, showing how much he loves NEMOPHILA. I'm really looking forward to the final concert of their tour at Nippon Budokan on February 17, which will be mainly based on their 3rd album.
I love the instrument-swap karaoke version of 'Life'. Mayu even had a shot a Hazuki's tapping part from the intro. Hara-chan on SAKI's guitar, SAKI on drums, Tamu on bass and Hazuki on vocals.
The Budokan is a legendary venue in Japan. It was originally for martial arts fights I believe, but they've been hosting bands for a long time now. Many great acts have played there and by my understanding it's by invite only, so it's a pretty big deal for the ladies

The concept of this Tour is "We want to sweat with our fans in a smaller venue!“ This was necessary for NEMOPHILA, which has become the norm to perform in large halls. I went to three locations on this tour and they were all great experiences. February 17 at the end of the video is the last date of the tour. It's funny how the goal of this little tour is the legendary Budokan that holds 10,000 people. anyway thanks for the great reactions, as always. take care!🇯🇵👍
@@paulpabloanderson6884 I am not sure why you all are telling me the capacity of a Budokan when I have lived in Tokyo for decades. Budokan is a hall for traditional national sports such as karate and judo, so the audience surrounds the stage 360 degrees. The back of the stage is usually not opened during live performances. Therefore, when we hear of a live concert at the Budokan, we think that the hall will hold about 10,000 people. Aside from that, I would like to go to Budokan in NEMOPHILA with everyone! We love NEMOPHILA!😇

Finally fulfilling my dream of going to Tokyo in about 5 weeks. Missing the Babymetal show by a weekend and Hanabie is opening for Slash/Myles Kennedy the day I leave the states. My timing is horrible 😢. But still scouring the web to find at least some small band to catch while I'm there
