The level of hate towards Kandi since she stepped foot on this show from Nene is the reason she’s not on the show now. Kenya took every opportunity in every reunion to throw in Nene face that Kandi is the highest pay on the show and Nene did not like that one bit and started to demand more pay and Bravo said NOPE! If Kandi leaves she takes all her followers with her and Andy knows this.

Drags?!? NeNe came on RHOA to make a name for herself so she played into the drama, clapbacks, etc. Kandi didn't have to, she already had a name, was already a star, and already well known. Everyone doesn't watch for drama, some watch for the "sisterhood" and journeys of black women that they lie about when once they decide to "heal".
Kandi is living, not making up story lines or acting rich and famous. She was a star before housewives & continues to be a success. Haters are going to hate because she's talented and genuine. I’m confused. What should Kandi be doing? She’s showing her business ventures, family life and social life. Should she be boxing 304s and shaking tables to be considered exciting? To me she’s relatable because she came from nothing to something. Very inspirational in that regard.
But NeNe didnt lie. Most of Kandis storyline depended on something else. First Tardy for the party drama.....then silence then really the Todd and Mama Joyce drama carried her for a couple seasons.....then the Phaedra and Kenya stuff.......but like after that its crickets...........she wasnt even the main character in a show about her music group. But lets be clear it was the reason I liked her. In all of the mess I could always count on Kandi to be cool. This seasons change aint it.

At the end of the day it's NeNe opinion in Her interview. They can sit and say what they want on every platform it's ok. Someone ask NeNe a question and everyone is on her ass for her answer. That's what I don't get. Kandi doesn't talk about her at all. Kandi isn't the most exciting person, and it's what makes her more relatable. One thing is for certain, when Kandi leaves Housewives, we'll see her being interviewed on HER OWN SHOW, and she'll more than likely have eight other projects lined up. Kandi didn't ruin her name in the business, and that's what NeNe is pissed about. NeNe is probably the star of Housewives, I'll always believe that....but it ends there. I didnt start watching RHOA bc of Nene, who was that, i started watching when Kandi brought my attention to the show then Nene caught my attention until she was no longer watchable her last 2 seasons. And i still watch bc of Kandi and if she leaves i just might leave too. Periodt. She is not boring she is REAL what most people r everyday all day. Why would Nene Leakes be jealous of Kandi or Kenya, when it was her who helped Bravo and Andy Cohen put RHOA on map? Okay here goes my unsolicited opinion- Nene ‘has-been’…somewhat right, Kandi is a good supporting cast member, and her family dynamic- especially crusty old momma Joyce- was the most interesting part she brought to the show. EVEN Phaedra made her a protagonist back in Season 9! This interview was what the people wanted. RHOA at this point is flat out boring. Nene is the main reason why the show became so big and while I don’t agree with all that she says, she tells the hard truth. Kandi is a great business role model etc but she’s not entertaining nor exciting. It was the truth, not a drag. She gave the girls their props as well. Overall without the season 6 cast, RHOA will only decline more as the years go on. Cause certainly, nobody is tuning in to see Kandi roll her eyes at everybody and cry 😂

We need to remember how much ppl was asking for Kandi to go off the show back to season12/13 and asking for Phaedra back. Ppl just change mind about it bcs we dont have Nene, Phaedra or Porsha on the show and the whole campaing about Kandi being the "queen" and the "last longer" "highest paid" started to held her new image. But being honest? What she do on the show? She dont like to be confronted and use her employes to do for her, she dont even know how to host a good event or a good trip. Plus, Nene was right about Kenya not being a star, she doesnt have NOTHING goin on in her life, she doesnt bring NOTHING to the show since Phaedra and Porshas gone. Kenya storyline was always the beef with Nene, Porsha and Phaedra. Did nene lie or something? She's speaking the same as many producer would. Kandi isn't an asset to the show. That's nothing personal, she's just not. Her family brings more drama, more intense moments so nene was right. Kandi could be exciting without her family..SHES JUST NOT.. she said her and Kandi don't have issues, but she was being honest. Kandi is overrated...and yes if she's overrated she's overpaid. Phaedra should be in that spot unless they are doing a sit down. Kandi, Cynthia, and Kenya didn't need the show to be known. They had careers and were known before the show. Nene was a woman cast on a show that did well for herself ie the show made her known while the other women were known before they got on the show. If she was that amazing, she would have started something on her own rather than waiting for a network.

I knew who Kandi was even though Escape had broken up. I definitely knew Kenya. She's in the history books. No one can take her real crown👑 away. I knew Cynthia before housewives also. Cynthia was a great model. She's been on Essence magazine cover along with walking the runway. Never heard of Nene or any of the other women until RHOA. Google Kandi, Kenya and Cynthia . Real history is forever whether it's20 or 50years ago.
I think RHOA peaked and is on the downward spiral. That being said, Linnethia is still jealous of them because she is off of the show. No one wanted her ratchet, overbearing, nonprofessional, moods swings on the show, week after week after week. Nene played out a long time ago.
I agree! I gave up on Nay Nay around Season 7. She HAS to be the center of attention…tbf so does Kenya, but we let Kenya slide because she is beautiful. Kenya has calmed down a bit since having cutie pie Brooklyn, but Nay Nay is too much for me where I can enjoy her tv antics, yet I don’t miss her from RHOA. Kandi is just fine playing the background with her money counter and wearing her sensibly priced designer labels eating some good food and running 3+ other ventures outside of RHOA.
