yeah 😔by the way, if you don't mind me asking, do you know what could be going wrong if i can't seem to restore my userdata? i keep getting an error ): apks seem to restore fine, if a little slow
I tried using Neo for text messages backup. It broke my messaging app when i tested it and tried to restore all my messages. I had to reset the app to get it to work again. Swift backup works for backing up sms without issues.
IT encrypts you stuff with the g account and can only restore to a device with the same g account. You can't extract your files for a manual restore or anything. You're vendor locked.
I'm using neo backup now I noticed something that neo backup apps even with id of apps i turned on a lot of settings on but I don't know which one responsible for apps id to turn it off for example some apps and games blocking u but when u format the phone and install again u will become clean again my issues with neo backup is when I reinstall apps it's comes back with the same id of app I got blocked on I'm wondering which sitting option that responsible about id apps backup as u know English is not my first language plus I'm not that smart would u please help me out thanks 🙏
I'm not sure how you can avoid apps you've been blocked on. maybe check my channel for how to change your android id number. I had a video about that a while back
Thanks so much once again for the video 🎉. So, Explaining Android, I searched some custom ROMS. And i found out one of the best would be crDroid. But from what I've seen, it's only for the pixel 7 pro :( I think it would've been the better one for me, unless, of course, like Evolution X, the devs are not friendly.
I have heard a lot of good things about the crDroid custom ROM as well. I wonder what is limiting their development to the pro version. have you asked about this on XDA?
@@ExplainingAndroid First of all, I'm super glad that crDroid hasn't given you the same problems as Evo X, I'm super happy about that. Yeah it's really strange what makes them stop at the pro. Responding to the link you gave me about the unofficial version, perhaps it's the same procedure? Wonder if it's as stable though... It's very interesting. I have not asked anything on XDA but I definitely should. If anyone responds, I'll make sure to leave a comment and let you know! Thanks for the reply EA, it's great info you always give.
@@ExplainingAndroid As a second response to that, that's actually quite nice. I didn't know flashing such custom ROMS would be as easy as installing stock Android with an unlocked bootloader and launching a few fastboot commands. Am I missing something key? Sorry for the 'noob' questions lol, I'm very new to custom ROMS.
sadly, that's just how Android is setup right now. I've been waiting for Google (or even Samsung) to implement their own way to do this without root (Xiaomi did it recently) but they haven't even announced they are working on this
@@ExplainingAndroid I know I'm talking about your comment u said (xiaomi did it recently) how ??? from where I can do it ???? I'm talking about neo app thanks
