Heritage of the South Pennines - Neolithic pottery
The use of pottery for all manner of household roles from cooking, eating, drinking and storing food and materials has been ongoing in the South Pennines Park for at least 6,000 years, arriving in the Neolithic. In this video, archaeologist Mike Copper from the University of Bradford discusses and demonstrates how prehistoric pottery was used, made and fired.
