I've been saying this a lot of times doh .. I just want him to keep his originality. He sings so differently from our regular Nigerian ministers. Doh I'd liken him more to Dante
The Goodness of God song lyrics remain valid... Your context also stays valid. (Two truths can coexist) 1a- "His goodness is running after us" (implies that It keeps searching for us and doesn't stop until it gets to us) Luke 15:20,21 (The Running Father) 1b- "His Goodness is running over us" (He fills us up, Our cup runs over, overflowing.) John 15:11 2a- "With my life laid down, I surrender now" (Is a call to commitment/ an awakening to our true purpose in Christ Jesus post conversion, A selfless life which also unwraps to Christian Service- he that keeps his life shall lose it- Matthew 16:25) 2b- "With your (Christ's) life laid down, you surrendered all and gave me everything...-(Reflects back to the price paid on the cross, and how christ gave his all for us, John 10:11-15) Both contexts are scriptural and Two truths can coexist.
I've had this song as an audio file for some days now, as that's how best I enjoy his songs, and from the very first song "when the glory comes" Asides being a son of Pastor Dunsin I'm also a strong believer of the grace on Minister Neon & I think more people need to hear him. But given all this, I just kept quiet and allowed the new refix, but the moment he tried to refix "goodness of God" twice, I knew I had to come on YT and search for comments... I'm so happy I found one like this such depth in that explanations. Personally I don't like when people refix other people songs, albeit can be out of love, sometimes could even be spirit led too But I don't also think ministers like their songs being tampered with. Not to mention the way Neon's done it here. I'm convinced most ministers receive their songs & should be respected in that unfiltered format as the spirit of the prophet is subject to Him alone. I've heard Pastor Victoria talk about something like this in one of her teaching sessions but in conclusion I'm so happy some one pointed this out. If we should keep refixing songs & seeking models or meanings of them Then a lot of songs that minister to people over the ages may need to be changed.
Great ministration. Just a hint from me to you. It is better to write your song and lyrics as inspired by God than faulting someone else's inspiration and intellectual property and rewriting the person's song without permission. I'm talking of "GOODNESS OF GOD"

Thanks for the add up. Minister Neon is a great singer and I love his original song. I had to air my opinion because of his approach to the song he did a rephrasing.
