this is hilarious, humanoid angels and evas make sense, but the abstract ones? thats hilarious to see them flop around and make massive damage instead of their actual "destroy everything up" single attack.
i know im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my login password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Jeremy Milan I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Note: None of these are to scale, for competitive balance reasons. Gaghiel should be the size of several aircraft-carriers, and Sahaquiel should be the size of a small city. I understand it's for gameplay reasons, but it's kind of funny to see an angel that it took three Evas at full power to hold up floating around at half their size.
Not to mention, *Leliel.* The damn thing's true body is that shadow on the ground, but in this game, it's the giant floating orb! Again, obviously for gameplay reasons, but it's still hilarious.
Not gonna lie, I still kinda wish there was a much more expanded Evangelion universe out there that finally let Toji Suzuhara, Kensuke Aida and Hikari Horaki pilot Evas alongside Rei, Asuka, Shinji, Mari, Kotone and Kaworu, instead of just kinda casting them aside.
I'm legit actually writing a light novel at the moment specifically about this, it's an alternate universe where the three were taken by Seele and they fight Shinji Rei and Asuka and by technicality NERV as well
The Evangelion anime from the 90s is the original story, concept and idea. The manga were simply made to cash in on the show as a side gig. The remake barely gets close to the original in any possible way: You can not... remake.
A game where you can play as a giant floating octahedron, a psychodelic painting that's on the back wall of a fortune teller's booth, the demonic sphere from Okami and Tatsunoko VS Capcom, and a Mazinger Z expy. Awesome!
It's a shame this game is so bad. They got the look down well (scaling issues aside). The controls are some of the most awkward I've ever used in a "fighting" game, and the movement and attacks are equally awkward in their own right. The movesets are limited and unimaginative. And why does blocking look like a generic blue bubble shield? Why not make it an AT field?
Those odd evangelion units are evangelion type a(alpha) and evangelion type b(beta). Eva unit a is the green one and is operated by the dummy plug system(rei version).Eva unit a was produced by seele and then kept in secrecy. Eva unit b is piloted by kaworu and it is the gold one.
Everyone points out the abstract angels being playable, but what I find much funnier is that the game is a platform fighter As in, a fighting game where you jump between buildings and stuff, with these gigaton weighting mechas and kaijus that would have to stick mostly to the ground for their sheer size It's pretty funny they went the platform route rather than a traditional fighting game, cause I'd love the game's roster more without the smash esque stages
MAtarael. And yes, they should indeed have put in more angels... Id especially like to see what they would have done with Arael (mindrape beam) or Armisael (doublehelix tentacle)
you missed Lilith and Eva 01 Berserk attacks, Lilith is the most expensive character to get, and you can only buy it by finishing some missions (50% of them i think), and Eva 01 you need to complete Eva 01 history missions in hard mode...defeating tabris is one of my biggest achievements, but the reward worth it, eva 01 berserk is brutal in al ways
Leo Schulte Diamond being the 5th angel Ramiel, the only Angel where getting into hand to hand combat would have been a tad amount to suicide. it Particle Beam attack was utter devastating to anything that threatened it. The ball is the 12th angel known as Leliel uses whats known in the anime as a Sea of Dirac, absorbing what ever the shadow touches into another dimension. Eva Unit-01 got caught in this attack.
+night shroud96 there's a theory that since Leliel is a transcended being and had contact with Shinji in the train scene, that it exists in the rebuild. Any time Shinji is on the train or monologues he is conserving with Leliel.
Not a particle beam attack..that is what the Pallet rifles are. They shoot particles or ionized plasma shots, similar to transformers weapons. Ramiel uses nuclear fission in a circular magnetic reactor in its core, its biology is of the reactor however, thus making it the supernatural versions of what we as humans could make. Its basically like what happens when a solar flare bulges up from the sun, lots of plasma and magnetism ejected to a single point. That is why its attack is so powerful. It takes a being with no set biology to contain that level of spacial distortion and magnetic interference...hence its ever changing shape and its "stable" form as a double pyramid...a mathematically infinitely stable system. This is the greatest of the angels. It was bad design for a shield to be able to defend its plasma projection....when a mountain was easily evaporated as it should be. The writers actually wrote themselves into a corner with this angel and cheated their own rules to defeat it. (edit) The AT field of the Evas could have assisted in enduring this type of attack but not likely. Their AT fields should have been obliterated on contact. This angel is harnessing planetary forces of magnetism and heat and concentrating it into a beam...this is not something an AT field could defend. Sachiel survived a N2 mine at close range and lived with minor damage...but I feel that Ramiel's plasma beam is quadruple the power and radioactive energy a N2 mine could produce.
Played the psp versions of Battle Orchestra and Evangelion: Jo to death a couple of years ago. A ps3 sequel to either would be awesome. Did the ps2 version not have Lilith?
i bet if they put gurren lagann in this and made a sequel everyone would buy it. not that it would be the reason id buy it, i just wish they made an improved fighter of eva.
Lots of these characters aren't even canon... and then they do stupid shit like having the angel whose body is the Sea of Dirac act like the shadow (the black and white zebra striped sphere) is its physical body.
Yeah, some of the Angels aren't really built for fighting games like these. Ramiel (the blue one) wouldn't hit enemies with it's body, it would just blast them away all the time, it looks way too stupid using it's own body like that to hit.
If they were to release an Eva game on the ps3 right now, riding on the high from the movie, it'd sell a crap-ton anyway. Personally, I think they'd go for a sequel to Jo (or another dating sim...*sigh*), but a crossover with that series would be cool.
Would this game work on an American PS3? I know the PS3 is supposed to be region free but some games are locked out. Wasn't sure if this was one of them.
It looks a good idea but is very weird specially on the part of angels, why a crappy 90º cube is fightting? or a circle, this game has so many potential but is too poor (not the bad sense) and weird
yeah the best one and very much the tv series is the n64 one, and for the era it has impressive graphics, even when translated to emulated roms it needs 6 "cartridges" to contain it all.
