Are you able to apply the apres on the nails after you put the design on them? I want to do this on my own nails but it would be easier to do the design before applying the gel extension.

You can, you would just have to use glue. You can't with the apres method with the gel because the light won't penatrate through the colors.

the one I used in this video is just a piece of acrylic from an old key chain. But I'm sure you could find something similar on amazon. I will look for a link and put it in the description box

what's the clear adhesive you're using to hold the nail tip to the stand?

Double-Sided Mounting Tape. It came in a huge roll and honestly I'm not a big fan of it so I got some Double-side Nail Adhesive Tabs and I like them so much better, just easier to use. The tape I had to cut witch was hard to do and it is really thick. I will link both in the description box if you want to check them out.
