The vintage vibe Neon Trees added to this and the Stand By Me sample was brilliant, it made it acceptable for a middle-aged man to listen to. And now, 14 years later as I enter my 60s and become officially Vintage myself I am still enjoying this now middle-aged version, shame free! Time keeps slipping, slipping, slipping...

His voice gives me goosebumps, absolutely loved it! Love him, love them! I'm such a big fan!! Of anything & everything that they put their spin on. In my opinion they have a refreshing sound that breaks up a lot of the monotonous, "typical" music that is out there...again that's just what I personally feel. :-)

This song I did not like when it first came out by Justin Beaver, but when Neon trees sings and rearrange it like this it is DARN CLEVER because it's not annoying it's AWESOME!!!! They are so so talented.....KUDOS! Great Job!!!!!!!!!

i saw neon trees live (opening for my chemical romance) they are AMAZINGLY TALENTED and very entertaining. neon trees rock!! i respect them even more after this. this took COURAGE. (and they killed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) really good.

I really like how they made the bassline (and guitar at parts) have a very 50's-esque style before, pretty cool. Haha at the end of the video they say that, awesome. Just goes to show that hits will be hits regardless of the year

Wulbulbul Lubbubwublub because when you remove the human element there's zero emotion. it's just a program running inside a computer...the best music never comes from a completely perfect performance. it's like the difference between getting a pizza made fresh from the local joint and throwing a frozen one manufactured in a factory in the microwave. music shouldn't be manufactured by machines.

All I see when I read all these comments are either people insulting Justin Bieber or talking about how little talent he has and how this cover is SO MUCH BETTER. Sorry, I didn't realize a majority of you are successful musicians who made it to the top from the bottom. Both Bieber and Neon Trees are respectable artist and both deserve credit for their talent and persistence. When you get labels, international hit songs, and keep your head on straight while doing, then come back and talk crap.

Haters are going to stay haters and the fact that there is 961 dislikes on this video, is absolutely ridiculous. Neon Trees has actual talent. Tyler Glenn (lead singer) doesn't need auto tune like most artists these days, and the fact they aren't as popular, kills me. I've seen them live twice and they were beyond incredible. Better than the records. You can't say that for many artists these days. Adele is another. She's incredible. Clean out your ears Kids! :)
