I like how many modern toys are so interactive but like.... when you finish their gimmick you will just have an overpriced pink fetus in the bottom of your toy shelf

I did some research on the dolls themselves, called Neonates, and I think they’re made to help kids to sort of understand the concept of a premature baby. When kids are little you won’t be telling them how Sex works. Sure, the story is that these are aliens called Neonates, but that’s a real word for a human baby. Also it’s easy to see why this didn’t stick around long, especially since on the actual site, one of the names for some of the smallest babies (oops, aliens) that are still developing are called zygotie. Which is based on the real word zygote which is a what you call when a sperm enters an egg. Yeah… While I do think the Idea for “Preemies” was kinda cute, ( the alien babies that weren’t quite ready for families yet, and need an incubator to finish developing) and might be helpful for kids going through something like that with a sibling, a LOT of parents would probably not like this sort of thing.
I’m glad you show off these toys on how they are to be played with, because I feel the more I watch, the more I realize they are just one trick ponies and they are weird ass ponies.

All fun and games, but I for real lost it on the unnecessary foam beads... Like... For what they're even needed. It's only getting to waste and end up in nature, as if microplastic wasn't already a problem. Not to mention that if you buy this for you kid it's a probably an one time experience and after doing the whole ritual they're done and it ends up in the bottom of their toy chest, with it and just saying, they are so extremely overpriced.
@@Muddy-Goldfish72 Practicality. If I get it now chances are I wouldn’t enjoy it as much as getting it as a kid. After one play time, it’d just laying around my house with no use. I would feel bad because a kid could have had this instead of me. They can play with it countless times with countless stories in their mind as long as they’re not bored of it. It’s the curse of being an adult, you don’t get that imagination of a child anymore. You think more realistically.
It’s not single use though? A kid will probably stills play with it after they first open it cause they had fun opening it in the first place, just cause you don’t have an imagination doesn’t mean no one does

these are really strange but in a cute way, i kinda want one? i have to wonder if part of the reason for these is like...little kids who are older siblings with a baby sibling in the NICU or something similar? they're not necessarily educational toys at all but i could see something like this making the experience seem less scary
When I was little, I would see these in the mall and I would always want one, but I didn’t get one because they were Hella expensive🤭❤️ And my parents thought they were weird 😅
