I bought two neotecs. The 2500 with 12 inch chain and the 6200 with 20 inch chain. Both kick ass! The 6200 stopped working after one start. I opened the cover and saw that the fuel line split. Fixed it. Great saw. Big chips!
Videos have helped me to gain the confidence to buy one l went for 92 cc with 36” Bar NEO TEC should have it Jan 13th 2023 A 660 clone. I will keep my fingers crossed, I will let you know how I make out. You are doing a great service for future buyers. Thanks STEVE ppl
i used my new neotec ns892 with 36 inch bar for the first time today.i think its going to be an ok saw. lots of power and rpm.i was scared i made a bad purchase but i am so far impressed
dude. this video don't do nay justice. I got one and I can barley lift it. I'm 6ft and 155 pounds. For my skinny ass its just not practical . I need to mount it to a railing system. I got it to mill lumber but my Alaskan saw mill will not fit. ITS FUCKING HUGE!!!!
Appreciate the video. I bought the Neotec 8105 based off of your video and those by others. I'm only on my second tank of gas with it, but I love it so far. Do you happen to know of a case that it will fit in? I can't find one anywhere. I'll probably have to make my own out of a large tool box or something. I grew up on a farm and we heated the house with wood until I was in 9th grade, had wood fired tank heaters for livestock, etc. and I have always used wood for primary heat in my own home; still do at the age of 69, so I am no stranger to chainsaws. I have some massive red oak, ash and walnut on my farm to cut up so I got the 8105. It has impressed me so much I ended up getting an Alaskan saw mill and ripping chain for it. I just need to find a case.
Thanks for the kind words..... A case for it, Hmmmm... I'm thinking it's own garage. GRIN.... It is a big fun saw... Very different than modern chainsaws and that feel and sound will never happen on a newer model. Stay safe.
I have not ran the holzfforma 070 clone, but might grab a kit to see how it is. Overall this Neo is VERY nice... The 880 is a modern saw, It is not really fair to compare... Kinda like new cars are darn nice and comfortable, but there is something about riding in old 50's and 60's cars that is just different... If I was to choose one for milling it would be the 880.... But to have a cheaper monster saw, the 070 refurbs that two strokin chainsaw has is the best deal one could find...

Yes I know what you mean in regards to old school versus new age and I love old school over new. I've just seen a lot of reviews regarding the holzzforma from 1 month to a year and it's like they're going through a bad batch and neo-tec doesn't have really any written reviews just a couple on RU-vid (like it's a much new brand) I've watched I think almost all yours on neo-tec. Sorry about the long message but you're the first bloke I've spoken to about these saws. I've got some big Mountain Ash trees I want to mill and one is going to need an 80" bar for a bit of it. I know they are Chinese but I don't want to spend thousands on a Stihl or Husqvarna. If I got through these few trees I'd be wrapped and more than happy to strip it down and rebuild if I needed. To be honest I was thinking if I got the 105 neo I would put the 090 piston and cylinder on (66mm)
Its an easy sell... i look at it this way.. i can't drop 75k hooking up performance mods on a Porsche..but i can easily drop a few hundred on a saw..and go all out.. we sell a ton of milling gear to fellas who are into Alaskan milling and the neotec and farmertec setups are by FAR the best bang for the buck. Hi there. I'm a firewood producer and purchased a Farmmac F380. It's a Neotec clone of the Stihl ms380. I bought it just to get me by until I could get a good pro saw. Boy has it produced some serious wood chips. I have probably ran around 100 tanks of fuel through it so far and the saw is still in perfect working order. I liked the Farmmac so much that I plan on purchasing more of their saws in the very near future. I think I'm going to get the Husky 372xp clone saw next.
