Nice overview. There are so many more things to see and do in Nepal. It's so beautiful everywhere. I think a person should spend at least 3 nights in Kathmandu and then 2 nights in Bhaktapur before going to Pokhara or Chitwan. I'm a retired American living in Kathmandu. I never get tired of it.

@@georgepickett1884 Restaurants are everywhere, but you need to know how to pick a good one. First, the signage should be in both Nepali and English. Second, ask for a menu before you sit down. Sometimes there just isn't much I can eat due to my stomach issues. I have so more tips on my channel. If you come in August you can stay for 10 months. It's awesome in Nepal.

@@georgepickett1884 Really, the best way to find a good restaurant is to see if the signage is in English instead of just Nepali. Ask to see the menu before you sit down because it's hard to leave a table without eating. I do have some food type videos on my channel. Unless you want to eat at only high-end places you'll enjoy the tips there.

We just got back from Pokhara just before the lock-down in March. I think my favorite site was the cave temple. We did a little video, too. I just love living here in Nepal. Just to put things in prospective, 1,000 rupee is worth about $8.50 or so. I know it can get confusing.

I think the best way to see Nepal is to take a video like this as a general guide. When you are in Kathmandu you can see the things in this video and then check out the other things as time permits. Then head to the next place and spend some time there. Nepal is the 'chill-out' capital of the world. If you try to do it on western time you'll just become frustrated.

Never come to nepal it's my request they will charge u a hefty amount even for small things like from water to chips 1) if u book a hotel room they will give u a room which is not worth of ur penny,they keep ac just to show off which does not work at all TV in a worst condition ,ceiling fan in a worst condition 2) dont have manners how to talk with tourist ,even with their own country people 3) if u visit nepal please bring ur own snacks from ur respective country ,since price varies from place to place like chips and water And great fact is that u cannot even complain to the respective customer care about that particular product(regarding price) 4) bus fare is so high that , uncontrolled by the government, it's better that u buy a nice android phone rather than wasting ur money 5) country works on the basis of so called castism ,untouchable practices. At last nepal is not a poor country the public of nepal are very rich, Thank u

You can find some really good tourist buses. Some even have a toilet and WIFI and can take you to Pokhara for around $30 from Kathmandu (one way). They stop at a couple of excellent places for breakfast and coffee break. Don't take a local bus, though. This tour company seems quite nice. If you have the budget it's always best to take someone who can keep you safe and do the worrying for you. Details, details. Let the local people handle the details.

Great overview but please remove elephant riding - animal abuse should not be a part of any tour. It's a terrible practice and tourists should be discouraged from participating in this
