Designed by Vincent Raven, the NELPG owned locomotive is based at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. In this look at her we see her at home on the NYMR, operating solo and with fellow NELPG owned J27 and we also see her on a rare visit away from the Moors to the Severn Valley Railway.

Gorgeous engine, the T2's did sterling work for many years on the Tyne Dock-Consett line with gradients in places of 1 in 35, I see her last shed was Sunderland South Dock so she may well have headed up to Consett past where I live....thanks for sharing, Allen.

0-8-0s are such an interesting looking wheel configuration. It's a shame none of the 0-8-0 tanks like the SR z class were preserved.

My dad fired Q6 out West Auckland Shed 51F, a lot of drivers didn’t like them because of the steam reverser
