That's the real problem I have with it, RCTW focusses all of it's recourses are focussed on building rollercoaster. If I want to buildt Rollercoasters I play NoLimits. I want to buildt a themepark here guys, I want a shit ton of needless customisation options to buildt something I like.

Basically they're leaving optimisation until after they've seen what player's rigs are like, instead of optimising for an idealised system. So 6 does not equal 8. And most people who build rigs are not building with less than 6GB, and even then, to build with 6GB you need 3 ports, and most people with a motherboard with 3 ports are buying said motherboard for a better system, that will hold 8+ GB. Okay, okay. So let's assume you aren't a laptop user and you aren't a gaming desktop. So you're the smallest demographic of PC gamers. Most computers that have less than 8GB of RAM will also have a less than adequate CPU. And because it's not a gaming computer I'll bet 80+% of those computers have integrated GPUs. tl;dr 6 is not 8, RAM is not the limiting factor.

Kerm8 The game engine is complete shit. It lags to hell when you try to place roads ( even on high end computers ) and the cities end up breaking if you build them to big or change to much. The latest game they came out with they lied to everyone saying they built a brand new game engine and fixed everything but turned out it's the same engine with the same problems. Each game in the series is the same game but with more buildings. It's a horrible game.

Planet coaster is coming out soon, it is made by the same developers as RCT 3

I see what youre saying, but this is nerd³ hates. This isn't an official review as such, just what he hates. he's not saying they NEED to change anything, just what he would prefer. If he doesn't like it, he's explaining why but isn't telling you to boycott it! he just won't play it again. He's taken the time to entirely explore a game with his commentary, but you can make up your own mind about the game since he's shown you all of it.

He said many many times during this review that "well maybe it'll be fixed" and "Well I guess it's a beta." so don't act like he is judging this as a complete game, he followed up much of his opinions with something like "I hope this is fixed" or "Because this element isn't completed yet". Also, he pointed out how the Just Cause beta was miles better then this, and they had *more* time between the beta and release then this game has till it's supposed to come out as retail. He even ended on "Well this could end up being an amazing game, but I Really (x alot) doubt it" and for good reason, they have a ton to do before release, which means rushing it, which usually ends in a shit product. He was in no way judging this game as complete, simply stating observations and opinions on it in it's current state and noting how it doesn't give him hope for the full release.

If you care about the series you should want them to take their time on it and not want them to rush it. No one should ever desire for a developer to rush a game. Also as I am in college right now to be a game developer and as a person who knows what features aren't currently present in this beta that should be, I have a general idea as to what all needs to get done, and I know that the developer only has 200 or less employees, so you can shove that "No, you don't" down your throat cause I sure as hell know more then you. Do you even know what a Beta is for? They wouldn't put out an outdated version of the game for beta when the entire purpose of a beta is to test out the current development build and bug-fix and tweak the game based off feedback, which you wouldn't be able to do if you're beta is a much older version of the game. Betas are not released for your entertainment, they're released as part of the development process, kinda hard to use them to help development if your feedback from the beta is filled with bug-reports and concerns over things you've already fixed and added and doesn't contain bug-reports and concerns for the things you have.

You see i don't think nerdcubed saying it's just a beta 20 times is enough, he needs to say it almost 100 times before these people understand nerdcubed knows it's a beta.

There are some bizarre RCTW radical people who claim I am biased against RCTW. How does that make sense? I play the 3 original games and absolutely love them. I was actually excited for the mobile game and World when I heard about them. I bought the mobile game, and I could not believe that this was being called RCT. When I go and tell the RCTW fanatics to buy planet coaster, they freak out at me and tell me that I've abandoned the series and am biased. They are the ones who have abandoned the series, because no one from the original RCT series is working on World. I don't get why people associate Atari with RCT. RCT is Chris Sawyer, Sam Denney, and the rest. It has NOTHING to do with Atari. Atari has literally done nothing for the game industry. People say, oh, they made games commercially profitable. No. Someone else would have done it. Other people were doing it. Atari contributed to the collapse of the game industry in the west, and Nintendo had to save everyone's but. In short, Atari doesn't deserve any respect. All they do these days is make shrines to themselves. There is an entire scenery theme in RCT 3d that is just Atari crap.
