i think i just had a major flashback to my childhood and i love it. i watched this video when i was 9 and nerds channel just popped back into my recommended. I'm so glad you're still around nerd. keep going!
this vid got me into ksp almost 10 years ago and now in great part due to that game im on my last year of aerospace engineering at uni. what a curious world
I just remembered this channel. It's where I was introduced to KSP. Thank you for giving me great memories and introducing me to one of my favorite games.
Our physics tutor gave us a bunch of cards to build a rocket with. When we opened the cards, we saw they were parts from KSP. Apparently she will build the ship we design in KSP and fly it, record it and bring it in to us on Monday to see if we built a ship that worked.
***** One didn't get off the ground, the other two got up into the air, but then immediately plummeted back down onto the landing pad because they didn't have an SAS module.
I'm gonna do that in the future, when I'm a teacher, and, surely building rockets aren't that hard after some practise. I can flyby the Mün in 1.0.5 which 30 parts and 42 tons, and I'm still pretty bad at this game.
Nerdcubed's 102 dan... Nerdcubed's 102... nerdcubed's 102 dan you said you will do that and now it's time for the best game to do that with. Do it i said
This guy is truly Kerbal. He straps a tiny rocket to a heavy lifter, when it explodes he just struts it all together and dont get me started at how many kerbals he killed.
TheGreenPanda I would laugh if he got everything nearly PERFECT, aaaaaand did a bad burn that made him run out of fuel and miss Eeloo by a few meters. Then promptly escape Elloo's sphere of influence and drift into space. "FUCK IT!" ~Nerd3
also it only overheats when your engine has too much to take in basically, it has so much that it's basically burning faster than the rocket's fuel is suppose to be used and so it get's so hot it overheats
Sickness Avoidance System (According to Kerbal, I have no idea what it actually means) and how am I a smart-ass for knowing what EVA stands for? I only know that because I've played Halo 3.
***** And the baby turns out to be 1000000000000000000X worse than both of them combined with every other villain on earth and The Master. Bonus point if you get the reference.
In the game Kerbal Space Program, the star system in which the action is taking place is not our own but a fictional star system. The planet from which we start is called Kerbin and the moon orbiting about it is called the Mun. So it's not the Moon. In this case it is effectively the 'Mun" spelled M-U-N.
This really takes me back to the early days of KSP, the feels are real. Also they would have died anyway because that was a drogue parachute you twonk. CancelPost
"A genius plan I feel will in fact end with my death." I haven't laughed that hard since your SR2 videos (which you must do more of). Screw the cleaning up, I will now spend the rest of the evening watching Kerbals go to the moon. Or die horribly. Whichever. Either way is good.
Rockets can still overheat in space because the interior parts aren't directly exposed to the near absolute zero of space, while being exposed to the extreme heat of the thrust.
