Best thing about the whole game is when it was on kickstarter. One of the backing milestones was to get voice actor Richard Ridings. Who did the voice in dungeon keeper 2. So glad they managed to do it.
The best part of the stream was when you unlocked sin and it went something like this. Dungeon Keeper: You have discovered a new sin! Dan: Ooh! Wanking on a nun!

Yeah, when you play DK 1, you actually see how good Dungeon Keeper 2 is in Comparison. Then you notice, while reviewing the mobile version, that Dungeon keeper 2 is, while it was innovative in its time, actually not as great of a Game as anyone thought it was, and then you see this Game and realize how rubbish DK2 actually was ^^ I think it makes sense.
Yeah, and in all this time he still doesn't really know how to play. Wasting sins on rituals and not even building a sanctuary, building rooms in irregular shapes, ignoring the summon defense part spell at a time when he needed defense parts etc.
So we have this, planet coaster, and cities skylines on the list of "spritual successors to great franchises that pay more respect to the game than the original creators"
I love this channel. But some of Dan's opinions are very strange. He said Command and Conquer 4. Was his favorite Command and Conquer. When it's by far the worse C&C. I wouldn't even consider it, Command and Conquer.

I play this for the OG feels. Dungeons 3 for the pretty colors and simplicity. Also, if you possess an imp, it takes 7 clicks to lay a claim tile down. I do it to get a certain area started or claimed

I wish the tutorial told me that :D Got a little bit frustrated about the game because it didn't tell what I was doing wrong. They were complaining about not being paid, yet I had my gold everywhere, like all the corrdiors were filled with gold.
Dan does indeed say in his DK1 video at 3:35 that DK2 is the same game but better and it basically is. I dont see why anyone would suggest the second is garbage. Its pretty much the same game.
There's many different opinions amongst the evil community. We've tried to embrace the best of both worlds as we love our most venerable ancestors equally. (Except that one on mobile... let us hope that one never rises from the grave)
This game is my everything I spent so much time in dungeon keeper 2 so much time it was a thing that will always connect me to my father because he introduced me to this and it was the best game I ever enjoyed and this game is perfect the guys of bullfrog fully backed it and it was successful. I love this game. It made me so happy when I was this in my feed. Also, I was about to say that you're bad if you can't beat the medium AI, but then, neither can I on most maps. There are some maps that on which I can beat the hardest(insane? Can't remember what it's called) AI, but only due to exploiting how the AI works.
Attention to all (including Dan), dungeons 3 is almost the same game but with more content and stuff to do in every map. The only main thing is that dungeons 3 is about twice the price of this. This has been a PSA from a random person on the internet, enjoy!
I want a dungeon keeper game, and for some reason the entire dungeons series insists on keeping that overworld gameplay that's just a worse version of warcraft 3.
I enjoyed both campaigns quite a lot, mainly because i think Richard Ridings has the most fantastic voice ever and suits the game perfectly, so hearing him through all the campaigns was just pure joy! You should give Dungeons 3 a go as well, different but also very good!

Well yes but also no. It isn't part of the dungeon keeper series so it isn't dungeon keeper 3 but he said it might as well be because, well, look at it.
He said Dungeon Keeper is ONE of his favourite games. Also, he never said Bully was his personal favourite, it was just what happened to be the objectively best game of all time.
Dan, please play this again but with a competent AI that you're actually seriously doing everything to beat. This could be a really good video, but you knew the AI would be piss easy and as a result spent half of it pissing about and building in an extremely inefficient manner only to win by a mile. It would have been much more interesting to see actually difficult fights. I like the choice of game though, this and Kingdom Come: Deliverance were good choices.
