I can only imagine owning all of that stuff, especially how they have their stock set up the way it is now. Both James and Mike own a giant arsenal of retro games that i only wish i had. The room, the way it looks, even that old tv, it draws you in even more to the authenticity of the feel. It's what i want. Of all the retro gaming channels, seeing James room and all his stuff triggers my nostalgia the most. No other channel does that. It's therapy to me. I can have a shit day, but knowing James and Mike are around, and that glorious retro gaming haven of a room exists, puts me in a grateful mood. At least i'll always have that to look forward too...

I was the kind of kid that didn't take care of my games very well and traded/gaveaway anything I got bored with. I could never keep such an array of items in any type of working order. that's an impressive collection.

This game room is one of the best on youtube, if not, the best (at least from what I've seen). I'll never have such an amazing collection! Specially since nobody send me games XD Also, it's amazing how these videos are all filmed in this room, which in itself, is a tiny space.

I still have the TV i used to play ps2 on when i was young. it looks almost exactly like the silver tv you use as your main tv in the nerd room.

Nothing beats original consoles and carts/cds. Emulators are fine for those with limited money and space, but given the choice I want original hardware. Watching game room tours like this one, makes me want to collect hundreds of carts and cd games and dozens of consoles.

I have my gaming room set up in a similar manner. I'm glad I'm not the only person that makes charts for all the switches and TV inputs and consoles.

I used to have that wooden Nintendo box you have in the closet! The moment I saw it, I could smell exactly what that box used to smell like...really cool tour!

When I move to an apartment, it would be the same as this one. I can make a wall full of games, home movies like cartoons on 8mm, 16mm, and Super 8, Disney VHS tapes, cassettes, reel-to-reel tapes, 8-track tapes and vinyl records along with a nice home audio and video equipment like a TV, stereo, VCR, DVD player, turntable, portable record player, cassette deck, 8-track deck and reel-to-reel deck. It would be one heck of a room.

Growing up in late 80s I only Heard of NES, SEGA and ATARI (yeah, Commodore also), Never knewthere was this many systems. I miss my NES, Super Nintendo, Sega Mega drive (16 bits). Thanks for the tour James.
