Thank you all so much for the love and support! I had no idea how amazing all of his Dears are. I'm going to do my best to respond to every one of you! This is really out of topic but somehow the way you talk reminds ne of Dakota Johnson. I'm trying to make sense of myself but I don't even know if I even make any sense at all hahaha
@@giovannigio3764 I do! All of my gaming is on Twitch (www.twitch.tv/katieshesko )at the moment, but I am thinking of adding RU-vid streaming to my schedule. It's what fuels my covers songs....I love video games and the music in games is amazing!
I love that you saw the little smile at the end, a smile of relief. I'm a dear, and spread his music. Dimash is a wonderful human being. He encourages love, peace and brings his soul into his music. He is a humanitarian, donates heavily to various charitable organizations. Such a talent, yet he remains humble.
Yup, came across his some years ago, shortly after this performance. Not sure if you know, but this is a Chinese show with artists who had already won a competition and were invited to perform, so he wasn't a 'novice'. However, he was an unknown from whom the organisers had little expectations and he was the first performer with the 'favourites' coming on towards the end - all the applause at the start was intended to encourage him. Can you imagine, as a performer yourself, how they must have felt knowing they had to follow that debut performance? Not surprisingly, the day after he was one of THE big news stories in China. I expect you're well familiar, as a flute player yourself, with the sixties prog'-folk group, Jethro Tull - if not, I would suggest they would make an interesting reaction video, or series of videos?
Very smart of you to add reactions to Dimash because right now he is one of the most talked about and listened to on social media. You will start as we all started by listening to SOS, a song that made us loyal to Dimash. Sinful passion, Adagio, Diva dance, Your love, Across endless dimensions, screaming, Be with me, Fly away, Stranger and Ave Maria, is being heard right now. Dimash calls his fans "dears", so sooner rather than later you'll be one of us.
Thanks! I honestly never heard of him until a friends suggested I add reactions to my youtube channel and to check out this amazing singer. AND I'M SO GLAD HE DID! I'll definitely add more Dimash reactions!
He does, Opera, Pop-Opera, Pop, Rap, Rock, Kazakh Folk. I am certain he can sing any song, Like when he sings the blue alien song from The 5th Element, Diva Dance.

@@KatieShesko Hellooooo, it is true that a few days ago, he has released 3 new songs, but all his songs have something special, it is not only that he sings and has a spectacular voice, it is how he transmits, it reaches your heart. A big hug
Welcome to the world of Dimash. This was in 2017 when he was 23. He’s improved so much since then! By the way he can play 7 instruments, has a masters degree in music and about to complete his PhD. More Dimash please. You won’t regret it I promise. ♥️
Nice reaction 😁👍 Welcome to Dimash world 😂 Dimash is legend, the one and only, the best male singer on the planet 😂😂😂 Waiting for another reaction from Dimash 😁👍
Thanks! I didn't realize how popular this was going to be, so I don't have any more at the moment, but I'll be filming more this week to upload next Monday and Tuesday!
You Mentioned the live musicians and I believe the Chinese Singer Competition produces a far superior show to most of I’ve seen. They supported the competitors very well and the results are tangible.
@@KatieShesko -- The difference between this Chinese show and, e.g., similar Korean ones, vs. Western shows in the same genre, is that the "competitors" are A-level stars. They are not aspirants such as in most Western shows. Hence, the general production values are much higher, the caliber of musicianship overall is much higher. If interested: "S.O.S." @@KatieShesko Late Autumn is one of my favorites. It's one of his more simple arrangements, but the emotion is incredible. Also, you will LOVE the opening
Yes, a wonderful orchestra available on this show. This was the first episode of the series, maybe you can do the second episode, where Dimash sings Opera 2. And continue on. His latest songs are incredible! You will remember this day! The day you heard the best singer in the world🙂🎵🎵
@@KatieShesko This is true. Many Dears remember the first time they heard Dimash sing. My Di-day was June 29, 2020. It was a Sam Johnson reaction. I have listened to Dimash every day since then.
Love your reaction to Dimash! He was 22 here (now 27) and it was his big international breakthrough performance in China. He said he was very nervous beforehand, so I always assume that the smile at the end is one of relief that things had gone well.... I have subscribed for more - greetings from the UK!
Yes, Dimash was absolutely nervous before this. There is a video showing him behind the scenes, clenching his fists and his gaze is glazed. Looks like he's in shock. It shows how strong his character is, that he composed himself and went to perform THIS. !
@@KatieShesko Yes, it is very impressive. Though Dimash had participated in several singing contests - and won all of them - before the Singer. He explained once that he simply had better nerves so he won (quite humble but maybe right, ofc he had the skills too:) What made The Singer competition so frightening could be, it was a very honorable contest, only for established singers with large fan bases and Dimash was unknown "black horse". It would be broadcast to a multibillion audience. Maybe the biggest pressure was, Dimash thought as he usually does, that he was representing his country - if he didn't do well, he would have let his beloved country down. Quite a responsibility. (Dimash later told all this). I think it might help that the audience welcomed him so warmly. They had been told to, because Dimash was the first performer, a guest and so young on top of that.
Thanks Richard! I was worried my current audience wouldn't like it, but they are fun and I get exposed to so much more that I would otherwise! Do you have any suggestions? You get first priority!!
@@KatieShesko oooh That is tough as i have no idea what you have already heard or not :D however. here we go. Rick Rubin ( yes the producer for RunDMC, Beastie Boys and Public Enemy) somehow talked Johnny Cash into doing some covers of songs. One of those is "Hurt" originally from Nine Inch Nails. I myself LOVE the song, but along with the video. it is hauntingly wonderful. So if you have already seen and heard this... i can try something else.. but if you have not.. oh my buckle in .. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8AHCfZTRGiI.html
The Singer is not the usual singing show we're used to in the "west". It's for famous, established singer and on invitation only. To be invited is already considered an honor. The quality is mind-blowing - not "just" the singers, the musicians, back-vocals, production... It's more of a weekly concert than a competition, the contestants incredibly supportive of each other and the young stranger from Kazakhstan giving him the nickname "imported little brother". Dimash was completely unknown in China and at 22 the youngest ever and already this first song made him a superstar in China litteraly overnight.
@@KatieShesko in fact, he did a concert in Barclays Center in New York December 2019. He had plans to do a lot of concerts in 2020 but then the pandemic came. You do a wonderful job breaking down a song of Dimash, one of the best reactors to him. Thank you. And we went and listened to your flute playing...beautiful and, to use one of your words, stunning!!
I'm sure you've been inundated! - but I just wanted to thank you so much for this reaction/analysis of Dimash's «SOS», that I hope you'll feature him again on your channel soon, and that he is 100% the best singer I've heard in my life (who just happens to be gorgeous-looking, too!) Great reaction and thank you for sharing your experience as a musician. Welcome to Dimash world, enjoy the ride. The Show is called I'm a Singer or more shortly The Singer. This was my first song of Dimash too, but all the ambiance and the live orchestra sure made me a fan of this Show. Sometimes I just go and watch a full episode of it and it's granted that I have 1hr30min of great music, singers and performances. Coming back to Dimash I call him my THE VOICE, watching him growing up and maturing is a bless. Stay safe. Regards from Portugal 💕💕
To get several flavours of what Dimash can do, in one song. watch Stranger which he just released. He was a judge at the New Wave comp 2021 but performed three unique premier songs. Then maybe go back to see songs from the I am singer comp 2017. The performances there are excellent even though it was four years ago.
I'll definitely have to check it out. I've never heard of Dimash or the I Am Singer competition, but I am super intrigued now! Stranger has been added to my list!
Shocked right?! 😄 Great reaction, you see all details, it's no normal in the reactors, well done 👏👌 And now, good trip in " The magician of voice" 🧑🎤🎼🎵🎶
Thanks! I'm no vocalist by any means, but as an independent musician and as a wind player, there are definitely similarities and I hope to bring that viewpoint to my reactions!
loved your reaction, I love when people experience Dimash for the first time lol, you should look at him singing Ave Maria, Stranger, Sinful Passion, Olympico, opera 2, to name a few lol
Great perspective on breath management from you as a flautist, thank you! When he was a toddler, Dimash swallowed a flute for breath support, a violin for vibrato, a piano for range, and a dombra (the national instrument of Kazakhstan) for agility. After working for nearly two decades to master them all, he swallowed a drum master's whistle so he could hit a D8 note off the piano keyboard. Then he swallowed an ambulance siren so he could execute the Doppler effect of crescendo/decrescendo on one sustained soprano note as it gradually approaches, and fades into the distance while passing. I think he's recently swallowed some unknown instruments as well, perhaps of extraterrestrial origin, that he very occasionally lets us hear. Those are the sounds that leave music experts unable to explain what they just heard. If you continue with Dimash, you will hear all of this and more, and we will be delighted to watch you.
Thank you! Like I mentioned, I'm not a vocalist, but as a flute player there are definitely some similarities and I love to bring that perspective to it!
I really enjoyed your reaction/analysis style and would definitely recommend more Dimash, this was just the tip of the ice burg as far as what he can do with his voice. Subscribed.
@@KatieShesko I was content with what you did in this video, it was nice balance. Just avoid the things that would annoy you if you were watching a reaction/analysis video and all should work out well for the rest of us.

You might also want to consider listening to Sinful Passion (Greshnaya Strast), Love is like a Dream, Your Love, Ogni Pietra (Olimpico), Confessa & Diva Dance, Opera 2, Across Endless Dimensions, Ti Amo Cosi (with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina), Ulisse (Duet with Aida Garifullina), and Know (both the regular performance as well as the vocalise). Also, his covers from the 2017 "I Am A Singer" competition Lara Fabian's "Adagio", Celine Dion's "All by Myself", and Freddie Mercury's "The Show Must Go On". His "I Am A Singer" 2018 guest performance of Lionel Richie's "Hello" is a must. His traditional and Chinese songs are also amazing: Adai+Daididau, Samal Tau (2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival), Qairan Elim (Holy Land), Elim Menin (My Homeland), Karagym-ai, Daybreak, Autumn Strong. And then there are Without You, Love Of Tired Swans, Where Love Lives, Unforgettable Day, I Miss You, Passione, Give Me Love, Marigold, Golden, Mademoiselle Hyde, Screaming, Tu Vas Me Détruire (duet with Sundet Baigojin), his latest music video “Be With Me”, just to name a few. His latest songs “Fly Away”, "Stranger", and “Ave Maria” just debuted live at New Wave 2021, and the latter two are on a whole new level. Just avoid any performance from "The World's Best" show/competition. The producers' conduct was disgraceful and unprofessional, and all performances were cut and edited to make room for commercials.
I have listened to this song Sos by Dimash maybr around 270 times and I still got goosebumps. All the songs which arguably the best vocalist in the world Dimash has sung, either his own or the covers are so so much popular now. So, it would be great for your channel & you if it is possible for you to make flute covers to some songs after reacting to them of Dimash. Nevertheless, react to Love is like a dream, Opera 2 by Dimash next. 🤘
Thanks for the suggestion! I hadn't considered covering any of his songs, but that is a fantastic idea. This song is clearly beautiful and I'm sure many of his other ones are as well!
Thank you for your reaction to SOS! This is the Chinese competition "Singer" in 2017, where Dimash made his breakthrough as an international star. It is an amazing competition for established singers, some of them stars with long careers, by invitation only. Dimash came up second in 2017, which may tell you how incredibly demanding this show it. Jessie J won in 2018. Hua Chenyu - an amazing Chinese singer/songwriter superstar, came up second in 2018 and won in 2020. The show is a pleasure to watch, because the level and the production value are so high, and the overall atmosphere is very friendly and supportive. It is a complex competition with 14 episodes (more than 3 months), the audience is specially selected to judge the performances, they judge even the rehearsals. There is a huge TV audience of this show in China. Dimash got 600 million views for SOS on their Internet platform Weibo (they don't have access to YT). He got so popular that he needed bodyguards after it. You may check out his guest performance in the 2018 show with the cover of L. Thanks for your reaction Katie..you're gonna have a lot of fun reacting to lots of Dimash performances.. There is a flute in Dimash's cover of "Hello" and a song called Samaltau, but its a Kazakh flute called a Sbygzy (probably thats not quite right) its played in an unusual way. Dimash is the ultimate musical geek! He is University trained in Classical and Contemporary music, and also is well versed in a lot of folk musics, especially Turkic, Kazakh, and other Asian stuff. I am looking forward to watching lots of your reactions to him! Greetings from Cape Town South Africa..
You will not hear about his music in west but this guy is superstar in China, Russia, central asia, kazakhstan and former soviet union countries. His alblum 'ID' was certified platium in 30 seconds, 3x platium in 17 minutes and gold under 24 hours of its release. Majority of the vocal coaches around the globe says that he is the best vocalist in the world.
Thank you for your analysis, it was really very interesting to watch!! Although you might have now heard the performance quite a few times, let me just say that when he repeated the phrase in his "tenor" register, it was the exact same octaves as in the beginning (B2 to B4) and also the E5 - F#5 stacatti were now in full mix (contrary to falsetto in the beginning). They are the exact same, it's not an octave lower :) Mind you, a tenor B4 is already a very high note for any tenor, and if you notice, Dimash "lands" from a D6 down onto a B4 in the end of the climactic phrase. It is really breathtaking. You should listen to his tenor C5 in Sinful Passion and Olimpico. Mighty impressive!!
Ah, thank you for the info! I'm not a vocalist so I'm unfamiliar with the ranges and how falsetto plays a role in it. I'll definitely check out his other stuff!
Hey, congratulations on your first reaction! Your musicianship, sensitivity and intelligence shone out clear as day - you could have been doing this for years! How did you come to debut with Dimash? Good luck and best wishes for you and your channel.
I was chatting with another youtuber friend of mine about different content I could make between making music videos. I'm a busy mom and my production time is limited so I can only make 2 music videos a month. And he suggested reactions where I can put my musical knowledge into it. As far as Dimash, he's a fan and thought I'd like his content and suggested this as a first song. It did not disappoint 😁
@@KatieShesko cool. The "reactors" space is quite crowded, and reacting to Dimash has become something of a cottage industry. There are even compilations of reactions, which is very meta. Some are better than others - the ones who have something interesting to say, obviously, earn the attention. But there are soooo many that just say wow, which pales after a while. But at two videos a month, paying attention is obviously important to you. Dropping a Dimash reaction always gets views, but I've seen some reactors do him to death, chasing views, and when there's nothing left to react to, they still don't have a channel. It's always good to see someone who is knowledgeable and passionate, and a good communicator, so good luck! I'll look out for your next video.
Thanks! Yeah, while the views were nice, I definitely have a lot more content I want to do outside of reactions. I'm hoping the reactions help bring in new eyes to my other content. And if they only come for reactions, that's great too. I'm just happy everyone is here!

This was 4 years ago. He trains every day for hours and has 2 masters degrees and working on his doctorate degree. The pandemic put a halt on his concert but he has really improved his vocals. He just put 3 songs out live to an audience and I really loved your reaction. Thank you ☺️
I didn't hear of him until a couple weeks ago when a friend suggested I react to him. I hear he plans on releasing more music for Western audiences so hopefully more people hear of him.
This Chinese show "Singer" had a full orchestra plus a number of expert musicians on regional instruments. Each performer had one week per song to work out the arrangement with the orchestra. This was the first song of the first night of the 2017 competition, so it was a massive cold open. And he decided to do a song in French! Crazy guy. On another week he decided to learn a special Chinese song in Mandarin phonetically, since he only knew a few survival travel words. Oh yeah, he is from Kazakhstan and is fluent in Kazakh and Russian.
👉 This was a historic moment and the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears (This is what Dimash calls us fans.) This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight. In 2017 Dimash received a wild-card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant of all time (22 years) and the first non-Chinese. Only professional, award-winning singers take part. Nobody knew or hear Dimash before and he also had to start first... and after this song Dimash captured the hearts of millions of viewers overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood at his door. The competition consisted of 14 rounds, over 4 months. The jury consists of 500 spectators. With up to 1 billion people see this tv-program, that's generated international interest. The performances were uploaded to RU-vid... and so, we became Dimash’s Dears. The Chinese organizers planned that Dimash would survive two episodes of the competition and go home again. They didn't really believe in him. But Dimash came, sang and stayed... for the next 3 years in China... but he only finished second in the competition because he's not Chinese (conditions have changed: The next year, Jessie J. won). 👉 In January 2021 Dimash was one of the few foreigners who has been asked to attend the live online show marking the inauguration of the President of U.S.A. Joe Biden. He is here as a representative of his country Kazakhstan and he is also here for his Dears from all over the world. This is the first time in the 67-year history of the Sister Cities and the first time since relations between the United States and the concentration camp began (almost 30 years ago) that an artist from Kazakhstan has attended such an event. Hola Katie! Espero que seas una nueva dears de Dimash, y que conozcas el talento y la magia de su música...Escucha: Adagio!!! Será sólo el comienzo...Saludos desde Argentina!
As a musician, I love that so much. Though as a soloist, I rely on backtracks, but I hope to be successful enough one day that I can hire real musicians for my music!
He began studying music at the age of 5. He graduated from classical and contemporary music. He has a master's degree in composition and is currently pursuing a doctorate in musicology. He speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and studies Mandarin Chinese. He sings in 12 languages. He has received countless awards and distinctions at home and abroad. After competing in "I am a singer" in China 2017 he became famous all over the world. He postponed his ARNAU tour due to the pandemic, events that he will resume as soon as the conditions are met. He is also a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (6). He has ventured as an advertising model, actor, dancer and audiovisual director. (He directed the video of him Qairam Elim). He is just 27 years old and is 1.91 m (6.3 ft) tall. He lives in his country Kazakhstan.
Dimash always plays with live musicians. Only in his MV the orchestra is not present. You need to go to his RU-vid channel, subscribe and choose any video. We will be pleased with what ever song you decide to react to. Thank you for your educated reaction. Take care❤️🙏
Having a musical family Dimash started training at age 5. He absolutely bleeds music. His mentor and music teacher tragically died of Covid recently and it hit Dimash very, very hard. He loved him like a father. In fact, there is a video that Dimash sings a tribute to him and you can literally see the pain in Dimash's face as he sings. As great as Dimash is he was still studying with this teacher every day that he was home. Dimash has a master's degree in music composition and has composed several songs himself such as: "Unforgettable Day", "War and Peace".
Thank you so much for deciding to react to our Dimash. You will come to know us as his "Dears", a name he has given to his fans. Don't forget to check for closed captions because many of his performances have them although not all of them. Nice to have the lyrics because he is so emotive in his performances. Please go down this rabbit hole because dimash will amaze and astound you every single time you see or hear him perform. A little history: Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was found to have perfect pitch. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz, was a major in Vogel technique. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his masters with honours having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He has since started his PhD. He currently has a vocal range of over 6 octaves but he is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of both arrange you have but in fact what you do with it. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He has performed songs in 12 different languages. He speaks fluent Russian and Kazakh, some Chinese and is pretty good in English and Is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it. At 22 he was invited as a wild card to participate in a Chinese singing show for professional singers. The show catapulted him to relative stardom worldwide and he became a pop superstar in China. He is also famous in Russia for his neoclassical work with famous Russian/Ukrainian composer and arranger Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement to collaborate with Dimash. He has written songs for Dimash and arranged previously composed music specifically for Dimash. He is often at the piano for many of Dimash's performances. Dimash has since introduced pop songs in Russia as well. His vocals range from a rich low baritone to extremely high soprano notes. On at least one occasion he has Hit a D8 in whistle tone for 5 seconds with vibrato. This was in a song called Unforgettable Day that he wrote when he was a teenager and you can find that performance at the Gakku concert. He was on a solo world tour when the pandemic struck. His concerts are usually about 3 hours with an eclectic mix of vocal styles and genres. He was born into a musical family and both of his parents are famous singers and musicians in Kazakhstan, his mother being an operatic soprano. He was offered a position in the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turn this position down to pursue his own path in neoclassical and contemporary music. He's a multi-instrumentalist, competent on 8 instruments including piano, drums and the native Turk/Kazakhstan two-stringed instrument called a dombra. On May 24th, 2021 he celebrated his 27th birthday. He is most widely known through his live performances that has released several albums the first one going platinum in 37 seconds and triple platinum in less than an hour. It has been recognized that his high notes are not whistle tones but head voice. Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does it is spectacular. He has many millions of fans worldwide which he has named his "Dears" He is soft spoken, polite, respectful, elegant and classy, also extremely humble and seldom goes without mentioning his love of country and its history. Bravo, Dimash.
Wow, that is so impressive! Singing in other languages is hard and so is playing multiple instruments! Thanks for writing all that out! It makes it even more impressive!!
Hi Beautiful Lady welcome to French songs and the Amazing DIMASH currently " the best male singer on the planet" you are going to start a crazy journey.. I loved your reactions please carry on with Dimash. Big KISS from PARIS.
Fantastic reaction Katie! Will you please react to Autumn Strong (Late Autumn) - some nice flute playing at the begining 😁 The version at Gloria Wu's channel has the backstory to the song and Dimash's perfomance and it has subtitles. Thanks
Great reaction. Thanks Katie. 🤗 Dimash has voice capabilities reminiscent of musical instruments. Among others on the flute. I suggest you warmly listen to the song Know. Dimash's voice sounds like the most beautiful flute. I always add that with top voice capabilities, this huge love for Dimash is also due to his wonderful personality. Dimash is a compassionate, caring, intelligent, cultured, measured, witty, educated, modest, young man and gentleman. ♥️
Hey. Nice reaction! Iv been following Dimash now for 3 years, and even though he is incredible here. He has progressed even further today becoming even better. My tip for you is to make that journey also, watch the videoes in a chronological order so that you can se his progressions over the years.
I subscribed to your channel cause I loved your reaction and analysis of dimash Please react to more dimash songs I would love to see you react to his performances specially the latest songs
"Stunning" is one of many adjectives to describe Dimash! Thank you for your great reaction and analysis. I'm not a gamer, so I won't be watching those particular videos, but you can count on me for all Dimash reactions! Greetings from a Las Vegas Dear!
Thank you! I completely understand not being interested in the gaming content, I have such diverse interests! I hope you'll consider watching my music videos, but I'm just so happy you're here for all the Dimash content!
This was a very enjoyable reaction and analysis, one of the best I have watched, and I have watched a lot of them. The song “SOS (d'un Terrien en détresse)” is originally from a French-Canadian musical called ‘Starmania’ from the 1970s and is considered one of the most difficult French songs to perform. Dimash is from Kazakhstan. He appears here in the fifth (2017) season of Hunan Television's “I Am A Singer” competition by invitation of the director Hong Tao. “I Am A Singer” is an annual Chinese music competition between famous and established professional singers. The audience phones in to determine the winner after each episode and is the same throughout the entire show; 500 with musical backgrounds and they judge the show by points each week. At 22 years old, Dimash was the youngest participant in the history of the show and competed against these professional and top-selling Chinese singers as a ‘wildcard’ competitor. The competition consists of 14 rounds, lasts almost 4 months and competitors are eliminated throughout the season. Every performance is live and no lip-syncing or auto-tune is permitted. Pure unadulterated vocal ability only. Dimash’s mother later said that he hoped to reach at least the middle stage of the competition. This was the very first episode of the competition, and Dimash had to go first because he was considered the weakest given that he was completely unknown to the audience. After this performance, he became a superstar in China overnight. His Chinese competitors called him their "little imported brother." The other already well-known contestants were in absolute awe of him and joked that they might as well go home. Dimash won the first two episodes! He also won the 6th, for his rendition of “Adagio”, a song made famous by Lara Fabian. First place overall went to the famous Chinese Sandy. Sandy's first album came out before Dimash was even born. Dimash took second place overall, however, lost by a very narrow margin. He lost a lot of points for his performance of “Uptown Funk”. Although Dimash did not win the show, he immediately became a beloved star in China. As part of the contest contestants/performers are each required to perform one original song they have composed. Dimash sang “Unforgettable Day”, a song he wrote when he was still in his teens - it's a love song. He sang in both the original Kazakh as well as in Chinese even though he did not speak Chinese at the time and had to have a translator with him throughout the competition. Here is the order of Dimash’s performances for The Singer 2017. The contest lasts 14 weeks, but Dimash has only 13 performances because he had already made it into the semi-finals by week 11. 1. S.O.S. (French) 2. Opera 2 (Russian) 3. The Show Must Go On (English) 4. Autumn Strong (Mandarin) 5. Uptown Funk (English) 6. Adagio (English) 7. Daididau (Kazakh) 8. Daybreak (Mandarin) 9. All By Myself (English) 10. Unforgettable Day (Mandarin/Kazakh) 11. Bye week - He had already made it into the semis 12. Confessa/Diva Dance (Mandarin/Italian/Alien) (Semi-finals) 13. Michael Jackson Tribute Medley (English) (Finals) 14. Give Me Love (Makhabbat ber maghan) (Kazakh) The last performance was part of the 2017 Biennial Concert and not part of the competition. It was broadcast live and is an original song written for Dimash.
❤ your reaction. "Sinful Passion" by A'Studio version should be next. Also there is a FLUTIST featured on the song "Hello" that was covered beautifully by Dimash from the same Chinese show I am SINGER. Thank U😊
I loved that you commented properly after the actual video, thank you! As a flute player you could also react to pieces where you could analyze the flute parts! I play piano myself and find these kinds of videos very valuable and interesting. But I do love Dimash, so please continue to react to him as well hahaha I recommend his Stranger, Fly Away, Ave Maria, Across Endless Dimensions, Know, Daybreak from the Bastau concert or a great fan cam of him singing Sinful Passion at one of his concerts! I'm subscribing, greetings from Norway!
Thanks for the suggestions! I have a couple more reactions coming out this week that aren't Dimash. I definitely plan on having a variety of reactions along with my music and flute info content!
When respected flute lady Katie gives us even MORE insight than an actual vocal coach singer. Speechless. I find it fascinating how Some professional reactors pour their hearts out with admiration and respect to dimash compared to others who just end the video in shock or does 1 video and never to return and it puzzles me because if an alien landed on earth its ALL over the news and EVERYONE would be covering it on the media, newspaper, computers and cellphones. I guess some people just arnt pure of heart making them react very strangely as if their world is coming down crumbling. Instead of disgust making your intentions so obvious i wish they could just accept dimash and appreciate him. Dimash didnt come to make everyone NULL AND VOID no ofcourse not everyone singer has their purpose and place in music. This is life we all know there is always someone out there better than the rest they cant help it they just BORN this way which also requires a lot of hardwork wish dimash does wholeheartedly when you study his biography and journey. Awesome reaction! thanks a bunch
Thank you! This was my first ever reaction and I didn't want to just react to the video. I love to dive into things and even though I'm not a vocalist, I love music and have been playing for years so I like to put my own spin on things. Welcome!
