@@culturalliberator9425 The HMS Hood suffered from dampness and wet hulls due to being so close to the waterline, this would cause cases of mould and fungus to grow and in turn, would lead to a case of tuberculosis or worse cholera, the German & American navy after WW 1 did studies on the danger of these sorts of thing accruing on their vessels, and developed a rather simple way to counter it, on one side they would wash their hulls with industrial-grade chlorine or alcohol before and after departure from port, the second a heat dispersal system that would vent extra heat into the hulls of the ships, kind of like an extra radiator if you for the ships itself, thus countering the respective dangers brought on by dampness, wetness and cold, In essence, if the Bismarck, Tirpitz, Prinz Eugen, Admiral Graf Spee, had survived the war and not been scrapped or other such things and could keep on sailing, then sailing on them would still be healthier than on most of the British, Japanese or Russian ships, the last one being the worse, fairly certain the French Ship had that sort of thing, The Brits would implement this on their more modern ships, not sure if Q.E., Warspite, Texas or another superdreadnought ever got that that sort of upgrade,

Well, she is really not that good anymore. Bismarck is a shadow of her former self, I remember when german BBs came out back in 2016, I got to Bismarck rather quick (just above a month to grind a whole line) and right after that a new ranked season begun - I got to rank 1 with Bismarck with 80% win rate - secondaries and hydro were much much better :)

@@A_random_wolf_brigade_member Thats not really how it works. Let me explain it briefly. I mentioned Bismarck using english language and it is a rule that ships are feminine in it - as such, I merely stuck to the principles of the language. In german language it works exactly the same - ships are also feminine in german, even if they have male names (like Bismarck or Graf Spee) - this leads to some confusion as in those situations both forms of referring to them can be correct :) While it is true that Ernst Lindemann wrote a letter to Hitler himself asking him for Bismarck to be called a "he" in official german documents, sailors and people still probably called her a "she", in paperwork Bismarck was a officially masculine. But that is really an exception of rules of the language. So when I referred to Bismarck as "she" I only stuck to principles of the english language. I am from Poland myself and in polish language ship naming is quite stupid for example - while ships are male and referred to as "he", the term "sister ship" is used for ships of the same class despite them being males - that simply makese no sense :P

@@LightMusicBand that would be nice, currently at tier V, just got the Bayern. Only two more tiers to go (I’m on console so Bismarck’s a tier 7)

@@xxtruedahkneshxx8422 You can do it... The grind sometimes feels hellish, but ENDURE, and get the Bismarck... I play WOWS Blitz, Bismarck's is at Tier 8, and I researched and purchased it yesterday after grinding out the Gneisenau :)
